Hi mr sbs6750E, yes compassvale crescent people currently still have choices. The new pair of bus stops at Sengkang east road should help them a lot. When 2018 comes, the nearby Sengkang general hospital will also be of great help. It will jsut be one bus stop away. Expect the hospital to serve most of the northeast population in Singapore. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr sbs6750E, actually I find both Punggol waterway point and Sengkang compass one mall duplicate each other a lot. Both seem to have similar tenants. Of course waterway point wins because of the Shaw movie threatres. Cheers. Thanks.

That's why I go there bcause of cinema. I don't go Seletar Mall liao.
Hi mr sbs6750E, waterway point has IMAX but seletar mall does not have IMAX. Actually seletar mall is self-sufficient on its own. Seletar mall is a good mall too. Brought so much convenience to the fernvale residents. Last time the area around here no cinema at all. Now got 2. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr SMB128B, northeast biggest is Serangoon NEX. 2nd biggest is Punggol.
Singapore biggest is vivocity. 2nd will be Jurong point. Cheers. Thanks.

Bulim and Clean Tech Park will need a dedicated bus service when more offices open there.
not sure why u seem to be using this tone to speak to me when what i am posting is not speculations... cheers

Wait, not speculations?
I am sorry. I am not aware that you have access to information first-hand.
So, by that, I assume the two new bus services in Jurong West are all for Tuas.
Thanks for the clarification.
New routes prediction

Many participants at another forum say the handover (to LTA) is 1 January, but looking at the pictures, I guess until February then handover.
June is very likely.
I expect LTA to force GA take in 15 E500s or A95 at least...

Compassvale Cres can be the looping point.
Can be feeder that does Anchorvale Crescent and on its way back does Compassvale Crescent such as:
Sengkang Interchange
Sengkang East Road
Anchorvale st
Anchorvale Crescent
Compassvale Crescent
Compassvale Road
Sengkang Interchange

Could be following:
Sengkang (3 of the 4 below?):
sv 500 to CBD and beyond?
sv to Tampines duplicating sv 27 with DDs
sv 373 to Anchorvale/Compassvale Crescent
sv to AMK via Anchorvale/Sengkang West Way in parallel to 50/163 for red line.
Bedok
Chai Chee - DTL3 - CBP service (?)

My side the station havent even TOP yet... Station structure not sealed, not even any paint/mosaic on the exterior of the exits...

Hi mr philipC, I read is open only in Q4 2017. Should be December 2017. Let's just wait patiently. Cheers. Thanks.
Passed by the construction site of Tampines East station, they changed the completion date to 2018. Previously it was Dec 2016
ok thats no surprise. That means stations like Ubi would be abandoned for a year and leave the paint peeling...

Delayed to 2018? Construction problems? Thought LTA said work is 94% done and DTL3 is on schedule for 2017?
In any case, even if it's uneven, there should be turn-around tracks somewhere (near Ubi / Kaki Bukit? due to Kim Chuan Depot) so the completed stations can open first.
Originally posted by orange28:Based off LTA's news release regarding the negotiated bus contracts, perhaps we can expect to see new services in 2017 as follows:
Sengkang/Hougang: 3 new routes
Perhaps new feeder for Anchorvale, new trunk route (or routes) out of the Sengkang Extension Int?
Bedok: 1 new route
Suspect rationale is to enhance connectivity to DTL3
Tampines: 1 more new route (after incl. svcs 127, 129)
New feeder service?
Jurong West: 2 new routes
2x New JIS to better serve Tuas Industrial Estate?
Serangoon-Eunos: 1 new route
Suspect rationale is to enhance connectivity to DTL3That's it for SBST, surprisingly for SMRT apparently there are no more new services to be launched (svc 883 is the new service in the Sembawang/Yishun package) so this suggests any new bus routes will be accompanied by shortening/elimination of other SMRT bus routes ...
If I'm not wrong, BSEP ends in 2017. As LTA promised 80 new routes under BSEP, 10 new services should be launched this year (according to Land Transport Guru's list of BSEP services).
So there should still be 2 more services in Bulim/Loyang packages besides these 8 mentioned in the negotiated bus contracts. One is 68, and I guess the other is the Punggol feeder 381?
By the way, once BSEP comes to an end, will the existing BSEP services experience amendments or even withdrawal, especially the ones with very poor loading (e.g. 120, 150)?
