974 loadings quite okay for a new svc,maybe TTS should considered leasing 3 units of SG A22 and the 2 A95 for future upgrades.

GAS:Excess spare of DDs maybe can exchange 10 SG B9TL with 10 SMRT SG A22.
TTS:Can lease 8 A95 from SMRT.
SMRT:Wait for Euro 6 DD

LTA should have reserved those Sv2A/7A/7B/12e/147e A95s and a number of Citaros for Seletar package..
And instead lease those SG12XX Citaros for the respective services..
Messed up allocation under GCM by LTA...so many wasted DDs on services like 12e/147e when way popular services like 851 is now DD-deficient after transitioning...

I know what you are thinking, but LTA is not that silly.
most of the deployment suspect to be political things when come to service like 83 and those express bus service. or else what ? IF LTA really want to reduce the work load of MRT deploy those express bus service need to plan properly. As I said LTA need to plan the bus lanes and route what happen if traffic jam? If LTA wanted to have express service like 147 E or 12 E they should create a special bus lane in the expressway for those express service no cars or other transport can access the lanes full day.
and have 147e terminated at houngang interchange.

this i have to disagree. LTA is infact silly.. the planning is really bad... mess up so many things. even for purchase of replacement new DDs also take long time.
SBST can make decision to buy buses 3-4 years back to accomodate for the retirement of buses, yet LTA slowly take their time...
the DDS on 12E/147E/7A/7B are to standby for any issue with EWL when it switch to the new signal system.... but frankly speaking, 30 DDs wont help much, esp if the entire EWL is having issue.

wonder why they need around 30 SD for training purpose? during daytime, most of these citaros are sleeping inside SEDEP as well.

Or at least terminate at Serangoon Int since the freq is at 20-30 mins..1 lot would be enough.
Was waiting for 12e along Tampines Ave 7, the 12e BC just drove past without even waiting for the buses in front to leave the stop because he probably assumed that no one will board (bus literally had 0 pax on board) even though the bus stop had about 30+ people. You know its saying something when even 12e BCs are pessimistic about the prospect of anyone boarding 12e at all. Regular 12 left the same stop earlier 5 mins ahead..
Was surprised this actually happened, but eventually decided to walk to Tampines East MRT instead...
