What they would need to do is introduce DDs on the feeders like Boon Lay, Jurong East have done, and the feeder network is working v nicely.
386 need one more AM/PM duty..No need for DD not yet.Operation Manager already say that there will be new feeder 381.What improvement need to be done at Punggol is
Svc 3:Convert 1 more DD from SD slot(Am/Pm),Now only operate with 3-4 DD only.Mahy BCs especially those ex-Tampines one reluctant to drive DD.😡Same case for 136.
Svc 43:Reduce one split duty,Redundant..43M 50/50 SD/DD.
Svc 62:So far so good but Sunday can change to 2-3 SD slots.
Svc 82:Need one more Am/Pm duty.
Svc 83:Convert 2 DD slots to 2 SD and PM shift runtime has to adjust.
Svc 84:No comments.
Svc 85:2 DD slots can change to SD.
S118:Need one more split duty on weekdays.
S119:Reduce another DD slot to SD,Now running with 2-3 DD.
S136:Same case like svc 3.Two split DD duties but BC reluctant to drive DD.

May i know why 335 dont have DD.
333 idk need or not coz got parallel svc from IMM to JE
Loading for 333, 335 does not justify. SDs do not have standees during peak hours (except for few timings).

Boon Lay comparable to most HDB areas, where one needs to take around 10 minutes bus ride to/fro nearest MRT.
333 and 334 got a bit of over-lap, but maybe that's why both can survive on single decker buses.
335 is by itself, although the load a bit relieved by 334 at Jurong West Avenue 1.
meanwhile, there's 98... and 98M.

I think there is typo in your reply as 334 is full fleet DD.
If Punggol didn't have LRT system, this is how it would look:
Punggol Central -> MRT : svc 3, 83, 85 (like today)
Punggol Dr -> MRT : svc 50, 384G/W
Punggol Field (east) -> MRT : svc 62, 82, 384G/W
Edgedale Plains end / Edgefield Plains End -> svc 386
Punggol East End -> svc 387
Punggol Way -> svc 43/M, 117, 118
Punggol Field (East) -> svc 119, 382G/W
Sumang Link / Sumang Ave / Lane, Senthul Crescent -> svc 382G/W
Nibong (Punggol Way) / Punggol Northshore / Punggol Road -> svc 383G/W
* Basically 2 new feeders required from what we have today: svc 383G/W, 384G/W with majority DDs like 243G/W.
* Punggol Northshore will have feeder inspite of LRT as some BTOs are quite far from LRT.
* Punggol East (end) feeder will also be introduced as LRT is very far.
Route of 384G/W
Punggol Interchange -> Punggol Place -> Punggol Dr -> Punggol East -> Punggol Field -> Punggol Interchange
* Full fleet DD at 03-04 min frequency during peak hours
Route of 383G/W
Punggol Interchange -> Punggol Central -> Punggol Way (Sumang, Nibong) -> Northshore Walk -> Northshore Dr -> Northsore Link -> Punggol Way -> Punggol Road -> Punggol Central -> Punggol Interchange
* Introduce as short feeder 383 looping at Nibong until Northshore is complete and then convert into G/W service.
* Operate at 03-04 min frequency with DD fleet.
Please note to accomodate above changes Punggol would need a bigger interchange, maybe like Boon Lay with two exits for west and east.

IMO 109 should have gone over to Loyang contract instead of 136, which would have been part of Seletar contract.

Now 2-car trains liao still packed to the door and sometimes got ppl left behind.
Peak hour you deploy three car system also packed,Sg bursting with foreigners and new citizens la bro..Worse some of them can afford $200000 car despite living in HDB flats..You go Tampines Concourse you see what i meant,Many Indian,Philippines born Citizens..Tampines North is next.

Bus. Operating costs on LRT are v high, hence it has not been a preferred option worldwide.

Would need a robust feeder network like Boon Lay, Jurong West, Tampines and Bedok have. FYI - all these towns populations is way higher than Sengkang/Punggol and are doing quite well with the feeder bus network.

Woodlands feeder network is also quite good too.

Yep. Missed that one out.
If BPLRT has to go away, the following would be required.
986
CCK Interchange <> Bukit Panjang (loop)
CCK Interchange >> CCK Way >> CCK Road >> Upper Bukit Timah Road >> Petir Road >> Jelubu Road >> Bukit Panjang Road >> CCK Road >> CCK Way >> CCK Interchange.
* Operates with full fleet DD @ 03-05 mins frequency
983 G/W
CCK Interchange<> Bukit Panjang Ring Road (loop)
CCK Interchange >> CCK Ave 4 >> CCK Ave 5 >> CCK Ave 6 >> CCK Ave 1 >> CCK Ave 7 >> CCK Grove >> CCK Road >> Upper Bukit Timah Road >> Petir Road >> Pending Road >> Bukit Panjang Ring Road >> Senja Link >> Senja Road >> Woodlands Road >> KJE >> CCK Dr >> CCK Interchange
* Mix of SDs / DDs operating at 03-04 mins interval
921 G/W
Bukit Panjang Interchange <> Fajar Road (loop)
Bukit Panjang Interchange >> Jelubu Road >> Bukit Panjang Ring Road >> Fajar Road >> Bukit Panjang Ring Road >> Bukit Panjang Road >> Jelubu Road >> Bukit Panjang Interchange
* Mix of SDs/DDs operating at 04-06 min interval
In addition, BPJ Ring Road area would continue to have services 920, 922 and 972.
I don't think the above would add massive load to BPJ Road network and would be significantly different to other towns.
I forgot to mention, would need to use the other side of grass patch for CCK Interchange extension. It would be like Boon Lay with two entry and exit points.

Your 983G/W will not be able to stop at Bukit Panjang MRT in the clockwise direction, because you cannot turn right from Petir Rd to Bukit Panjang Rd (towards Woodlands Rd).
