I would say that GA actually did better than Tower Transit in terms of getting improvements in reliability, they look more stable than Tower when comparing the same timeframe (about 3 to 4 weeks since start of operations), at least based on my observations. Besides that, the buses are faster, which is good for commuters.
This is despite having the issues with drivers leaving, and the higher percentage of new unexperienced drivers as according to carbikebus.
The traffic situation at Punggol also seemed to have improved a lot over the past few weeks as compared to not just the start of GA operations, but even SBS times. While the jams at Jurong East during weekend evenings still looks the same as when SBS was operating Jurong East.
SMRT has 290 DDs as of 1/10/16, excluding the 2 E500 demos.
SMRT really has a lack of DDs. But back in 2013, it had...
No DDs.

In those days SMB had bendy buses instead.

GA is way bolder than TT and is willing to challenge the system... Personally I am extremely satisfied with GA, buses have been arriving regularly and the speed is impressive, contrary to TT.
But what I like most about GA is its stride in creating a brand image it could call its own, striking a balance between distinction and uniformity (with LTA standards)... This is most seen in its clever placing of the logos on the buses, just the right size and position while not claiming too much "credit"... While TT only has that pathetic small logo at the top of the entrance, making me feel like it's just left hand to right hand business (no change), and worse still I feel like I'm riding on incomplete SBST buses...

There's a price to pay for that bro,Gamble.Right now just wait and see whether the A95s rumours is true or not.
Ince in a meeting during the hiccups,One staff requesting to follw SBST pattern of rosters and the Ang Mohs respond by answering "We're GA from UK,If we follow SBST then might as well we don't bid for the package..

Whats the price really? The absence of SMRT buses on GA may be a bummer but not to the extent of losing out to TT since no SMRT roytes were in the package anyway.

Some of the previously resigned BCs start to comeback with a promise of 1-2 svc per day duty only,Unlike previously where almost all svc got 2-3 svc duty oer day..But seriously i love to drive 3 svc per day duty.
Previously i ever drive these duties.

Full Shitaro fleet is the worst problem.
If the rumours is indeed true,GA will receive 15 A22s and 25 A95s next year.
As of now,Lydep can finish spray 2 SDs or 1 DD in one full day.
