Many HG Technicians has since resigned or join GA..Not only Tridents,Even their transfered Citaros and B9TLs mostly cmi..When my duty ended at Punggol,I take 89/109 to Lydep to take my motorcycle..Most of their buses got leaking aircon/Noisy engine etc..It was totally different from last time where Hgdep was the top notch.Bndep you say good ah?Hahaha...SMRT the worse is Amdep i believe you but SBST side still okay for me and remember one thing,Now they got many buses to maintain with only a group of Technicians to work.SMRT also miserable leh,Have to maintain SPF/Ambulance first rather than their own buses..GA also one thing with so many pinoys good for nothing work here..
If SMRT wins, will they be able to use the buses meant for the package on their other services like 855/857?

Imo smrt cui is actually those e500s and a22 batch 1... the batch 2 and 3s getting loud liao. citaros still ok tho from my perspective, OCs obviously loud engine haha

Its because a small group of Technicians meant for svc buses has to mulitple jobs servicing taxis and other vehicles..Who is not fed up?No wonder many old timers resigned and now replaced by not so skill foreigners..

If SMRT wins, they definitely will use or try to use the DDs meant for Seletar package and put on 61, 67, 176, 188, 190, 960, 963, 964, 972 etc and put SD's onto the Seletar package services in return. SMRT MUST NOT BE ALLOWED to win Seletar package.

My nephew took this, not all recent but recent enough to the time SMRT started bringing in DDs and have improved its quality of buses...
In the same period of time for SMRT side, even the Box rigids are SPOTLESS compared to this...
And I can tell you this is not isolated... The KUB and B9 (all makes) are the worst now
I can bet with you right, you place a tissue or something next to a seat or on the window, you will still find it chilling down there after a fortnight or so...
I don't even know which firm SBST outsources its hygiene operations to, but whoever is doing is not doing a good job...
And until they get it dealt with I really don't wanna ride on filthy buses...
I take 24 and 858 every week... it's almost heaven and hell difference... (and dont try to twist this okay SMRT is the heaven)
And I'm not gonna have another 5 years of carnage under Seletar with a company that couldn't even take care of the interior... Truly overrated company SBST is!
hmm using one photo to generalise the whole sbst fleet?
i didnt say and i dont think u should be expecting all buses to be totally clean.. it is a public bus afterall and commuters litter. in fact such scenarios are so much more prominent on smrt buses

the OCs (and citaros) are the poorest maintained buses in smrt fleet.. blackish panels, unbalanced axles etc. there isnt even 1 OC with clean (without obvious black stains) panels. Very big difference compared to sbst kub citaro and even CDGE interior condition
the habits also used to be so crappy but are now improved due to refurbishment
fyi roaring CDGEs and KUBs are also the minority of the fleet (or less than half for KUBs)
Only GA/TT buses BCs are not allowed to sweep or clean the interior becaus there will be shunters doing all that twice everyday..Those BCs want to do at their own freewill.
