Rigids
A22s < KUBs/OCs < Taros
DDs
A95s < KUDs < E500 < B9TL
Given that even in HK, a bigger DD market than Singapore, the KUD wasn't successful in getting large orders, there must be something about the KUD that puts the KUD at a disadvantage over its competitors. What it is, I don't know.
Maybe those 5 cylinders vibrate?
hong kong has many hillside roads to climb up. so if u look at the DD bus they had most of them has powerful engine. so maybe KUB might have problem for that.

You're wrong,HK or any other countries doesnt tune their 1st gear to be torqueless like Singapore did..I got see SG1054R climb ECP without much struggle too unlike the other buses.HK B9TL and our B9TL also same engine spec.Their E500 and our E500 also same spec,Their A95 and our A95 also same spec..Its all ECU tuning that make the difference.Singapore vehicles got restriction for all the top speed.
I get only 190kmh on a Singapore Proton Wira 1.5 but get over 195kmh on a Malaysian one.

their ASC (Euro IV) and ASCU (EEV) do ply mountain routes (e.g. 28B), and they climb them effortlessly and feel more powerful than our KUB's. but they do vibrate in the same way too though the tougher bodywork dampens it lol.

Given the current models in SG for BCM which would you want the LTA to take since it is most probably only taking one?
1. A95
2. E500
3. B9TL
((Btw this is also my sequence from most to least desirable. You can do sequence or just choose one.))
A95 for me..
It'll be great if LTA orders E400..

E400 for what svc?
E400 is 10.2m; bi-axle
by comparison, Volvo B9T 2 axle is 10.5m

I haven't replying lately, so I will just arrange in order:
A95 > B9TL (Batch 4 onwards) > E500

give them bendies instead of E400s ...
Wrights and E500s is a waste.
If LTA still keen on Euro V buses then they should considered the facelift Enviro 500s.

If they are still keen on Euro V buses, ADL wouldn't stand a chance.

Yeah more B9TLs and probably add on A95.

haha pls no fuck the B9s... Enough of that make alr, esp with SBST and LTA screwing the design up...
Not even the best one out there in the market... if they not gonna update the fittings 500 is more than enough...don't understand why need to bring in so many

Oh I tot you meant converting the bus itself into an A95... Oops my bad
Yea A95 should mass intake... Scania is good but I doubt it will stand a good chance...
The purchase of A95s should have been bigger. 200 A95s would be good, or maybe even 250.
But 171 A95s max, or the rego would go past SG5998B. (Assuming 5888-5904 are skipped) If you are wondering why SG5999Z cannot, I guess you have been living under a huge rock.

What's the rego series sg6000 for?

LTA should stop B9TL and Citaro order and continue with A95,E500 and A22 orders instead,Seriously cannot endure Citaro jerkings
