Well, bus drivers remember where they parked their bus. Just like how you remember where you parked your car in a car park. Maybe they will remember their bus rego for the day? Or if the bus have an advertisement easier to spot.
For Woodlands, it's easier for SBS drivers to spot their buses, they're normally parked at the far left side of the interchange and 5 parking slots are for SBS svc 161 and 168. It's a SMRT majority TBI afterall so easier for the minority (SBS).
For Bedok, it's SBS controlled so I guess they have more freedom to park (more parking slots). But I realise BCs will park beside another bus of the same service if there is a slot beside the bus. This actually will make them spot the buses easier.
In some interchanges, there are several parking lots specially reserved for a bus service. E.g. are service 904 (at WDL TBI) and service 386 (only 1 slot). Pasir Ris interchange have 3 parking slots painted "SVC 15" but BC driving other service parks there anyway. This also makes BC easier to spot their buses for the day.
BCs must remember their bus rego number for the day.
Some BCs leave their EDS on for easier identification of their bus. And same service usually park together.
There are no lot numbers for the parking lots, strangely.
