  To tell you the truth, 291 doesn't even need CDGE buses to suit demand on the service itself. Another one is AMDEP/BRBP have too many CDGE Buses and therefore need to adjust the proportion of the number CDGE buses with SLBP.

  I believe within the next few months, more CDGE buses will be transferred over SLBP from BBDEP/ARBP or even from AMDEP/BRBP, CGBP.

  Swapping 1 CDGE to services without CDGE at all in its fleet (even from the other depot for dual depot services). Except 5 and 7.

  And I don't want the Voith CDGEs. They are just slowcoaches. I have taken one (SBS7426K) before on 43M and it was struggling to even move at all! Not exaggerating.

  You are obviously exaggerating on the voith CDGEs part. You got see sv 72 CDGEs never move one ah? I had taken SBS7426K on 80 before, and it was performing okay. What you talking? It's bus problem for that day itself lah dey.

  I have seen SBS7415S on 70 also moving really like a snail. And the engine was roaring.

  You ah from svc 43 to Bbdep/Arbp fleets..Now CDGE issue,Later the Wrights start to roar you also will complain right?If you are in charge of bus fleets i am pretty sure all will go haywire follow your favour only..

  ZF CDGEs are better than ZF Wrights. But I still think that Voith CDGEs are the worst DDs currently in service. Luckily SBST didn't buy 150 Voith and 50 ZF back then.

  yes Voith CDGE lousy. However for WEG2 is Batch 1 - 3 soso Batch 4 lousy due to malfunctioned brakes

  My suggestion for fleet upgrade/downgrades:

   

  30 - SLBP side full DD (536 is going to another operator)

  99 - Full DD fleet with 23 buses, no SD buses

  111 - Add 1 AP DD

  145 - 7 DDs, 16 SDs, 145 is spammed with too many buses to the point where bunching is extremely common

  198 - Full DD fleet for this high demand service, BNL queues can hit above 40 pax during PM peak (though there is 157 and 187 complimenting 198, 198 seems to be the preferred choice due to its frequency and majority DD fleet)

  242 - doing well with current fleet but can exchange 2 SD for 1 DD, high bunching tendancy near the looping point during peak

  243G/W - B10BLEs and DDs only, convert 2 WAB SD to 1 DD, 243 is overly spammed with SD buses

  256 - Full SD fleet, add 1 bus to boost peak hour frequency

  Every high capacity buses with ABS got that pulling effect to prevent the bus from swaying and overshot.

  Newer buses,Thats why you need to know your bus after you drive it out from the depot.Its not easy driving a public buses,You need to think of the passengers comfort and safety.

  Just kick to SP only. So that these buses will be used less often, not scrapped.
