Introduction
The lush green livery was chosen by a public vote organized by the Land Transport Authority to signify as the new unified livery as public buses in Singapore transition to the Government Contracting Model (GCM).
All public buses would eventually be in lush green livery, regardless of operator. GCM operators are already in the process of repainting their fleet to lush green livery.
The process for incumbents to transition to the new livery could begin as early as September 2016 (after BSOL renewal and negotiations are completed).
Purpose
The whole process may take years, as it was the case in Melbourne and Sydney when they transitioned to the PTV and TNSW liveries respectively. This thread is to consolidate all new observations of public buses repainted into the lush green livery, as well as any related discussions to the new livery.
Fun facts
1. The winning margin for lush green was 144 votes out of 57,505 votes cast. Perhaps canvassing by bus lobbyists on social media was enough to influence the outcome to become lush green?
2. Blue was originally one of the options (similar to the DTL ad), but it never made the final vote.
3. LTA was forced to spend extra money sticking a bright red livery onto an ordinary new A95 as a decoy, after bus lobbyists leaked the results of the winning colour when they published photos of the MAN A95 concept bus.
4. The lush green livery currently appears to be applied inconsistently across operators.

Hmm... what gives you this feeling?
Anyone aware of a supposed error in the green painting? I heard some SMRT MANs (A22s and A95s) are painted in the wrong tone of green. Not sure if they were rectified, but they do look different from TT/SG1000G.
From pictures, it appears the SMRT B9TLs are also the darker green.
GA lush green is striking..Maybe SBST green is more darker who knows?
Dont know but see the rego sequence of Citaros and B9TLs,Jumping here and there.

Non-compliance in following painting procedures. The Lush Green colour is supposed to be spray painted over a white paint base. Those buses you mentioned had the Lush Green spray painted over bare metal or other colours instead. Always thought SMRT's Lush Green buses looked strange too.
I realise that none of the GAG SG plated Wrights have the LTA's "A Little Thought, A Joyful Ride" advertisement. They should put it on some of their Wrights though while awaiting to be painted lush green. That advertisement is cute and nice.

Since every buses looks the same in the future, with that small logo of their company, will the drivers have hard time finding it?
Unlike in London, where there's multi-model, SG only have 5(ADL, A95, A22, Citaro, Wright).

Tfl has mandated a full hybrid, electric fleet for its franchised routes
Meaning Borismaster, ADH, B5H, BYD , rest in use will be phased out very soon
"Lush green" is a standard PANTONE colour to be followed...
