I wish 969 & 965 were the same, but given that the 3M bus stop only got these 2, might as well keep 965 since there is 117 at SEM

There is a 858 from Yishun to Changi Airport.
Hi mr sbs3004X, I think remains status quo. The direct link from woodlands/sembawang is too great a loss to begin with. If a split is needed, LTA will have done so years back. Cheers. Thanks.
967 not so good to be introduced now till 2020 given that the hub at SEM is about to be built. Not sure if there would be a new interchange though
TPY still dosent have a link to CGA though
Agreed. Furthermore, this amendment was made less than a decade ago. If 858 is amended right now, many links are going to be lost and cause confusion with many people. Yes, 967 can cover it already. But do you think many people are going to Hougang since 161 has less loading than most other express services?
Originally posted by SBS3004X:There is a 858 to CGA and 967 to Sembawang.
858 still calls at the long TPE bus stop as well as the Jalan Kayu roundabout bus stops.
The only problem is loss of direct link from Sembawang/Woodlands to Airport.
It would be a waste of resources if you split 858 and introduce 967... Better to retain 858, since it not only serves the airport but also as an "Intra-town" service.
If 967 were to be introduced, I'd rather have it start from Yishun as there are already many services between Woodlands and Yishun. And 161 does ply from Woodlands to Hougang, so kinda redundant... If you go ahead, it should stop at Sengkang Stn and ply part of Sengkang and Hougang towns (I suggest Rivervale Drive, Buangkok Drive and Hougang Ave 6).

I think won't happen already since everything under LTA.
Though Bidadari Int is coming in 3-4 years, doubt it will be 2019
making some spectaculation.
8 - Tampines - Bidadari
61 - Bidadari - Bukit Batok
82 - Punggol - Bidadari
81 - Tampines - Bidadari
134 - Bidadari - Marine Parade
8
Cut short from TPY, delete sectors plying to TPY.
Turn to Upper Serangoon Rd, Bidadari Park Drive
61
Cut short from Eunos, delete sectors plying to Eunos
Continue up to Upper Serangoon Rd, Bidadari Park Drive
81
Extend to Bidadari Estate via Bartley Rd, Bidadari Park Drive
82
Extend to Bidadari via Upper Aljunied Rd
134
Bidadari Park Drive
Bartley Walk
Mount Vernon Road
Upper Aljunied Rd
Aljunied Rd
Continue to Marine Parade
No way should 8 be amended. I took 8 quite a lot of times from TPY and there are a lot of passengers (mainly elderly) who take this service to get to untouched areas not served by other TPY services
Perhaps you can extend 142 to Bidadari from TPY via Potong Pasir Ave 1 for every trip to and fro.
You can also extend 23 to Bidadari via Rochor Rd too

Hi mr sbs9252G, though amendments may be possible, but new services to be introduced will be more likely. LTA seldom likes to disturb the flow of current passengers that much. Cheers. Thanks.

I am particularly still reminded about the Sengkang West Way extension...while it will only be completed in 2nd quarter of 2017, I wonder if it would be nice for 102 to be there.

102 cannot as it has to do Jalan Kayu/Seletar Circus, but I am hoping 85 does.
