I hope they can restore 76 back to Marine Crescent > Still road and make to terminate at Eunos. No need for 134 or 150 then.

Huh? Still on Sbs 76/134/150? It is already cast in stone. Cheers. Thanks.

Maybe for Tampines.
This may well be an absolutely stupid move, but ... sometimes it could well be a good response to already existing stupid measures.
==================
Overview (TL;DR):
- 47 to reroute to 150's route, skipping Parkway Parade & Amber Rd (DDs to be lost)
- 47M between CBP and Tanah Merah during peak hours (with DDs)
- 150 overhauled, between Eunos and NBR Term, bridging Marine Parade and CBD (with DDs)
==================
Amendment to service 47:
Introduction of peak hour service 47M (AM peak towards CBP, PM peak towards UEC:)
Overhaul of service 150:
Considering that 47's prime loading is between CBP and Tanah Merah, and both 47 and 150 are BSEP, this allows for the original 47 to be diverted to serve 150's sector, skipping Marine Parade (which has medium loading and is easily covered by 31, 196, 197). While 47 will have its fleet downgraded to SDs (while taking over all of 150's), 47M with full DDs will be introduced in its place to cover the crowd during peak hours.
After which, the original 150 will be free to be amended to cover the heaviest loading sectors between the CBD and Marine Parade, following most of 36's route and some parts of 48's and 196's. DDs will be deployed on the new route. The problem/excuse of having "additional" services along Marine Parade Rd will not be applicable as it's either 47 having replaced 150, or the other way around, so the number of services remain the same. Politics issues (if any) are taken care of.
47 will now do the entirety of Marine Cres in both directions, and Marine Terr towards Eunos. The sector from Eunos to Marine Terr is patched up by the new 150, while the sector between Parkway Parade and Marine Cres is already served by 134. If necessary, 150 can also do Marine Cres in both directions to relieve 16.
And the best thing is: both routes will be bidirectional after the change.
Possible problems:

Please comment. Thanks.
New Bridge Rd Ter will be relocated further near the junction of Kg Bahru Rd.

Possible problems:
- - Lack of terminating space for a new service at Eunos Int, as well as New Bridge Rd Term.
- - Lack of DDs for new 150, or enough SDs to make up for 47's lost DDs.
- - 150's new route being too long.
- - Loss of the loop at Marine Parade Rd / Amber Rd. (Perhaps a possible replacement would be 196M to loop around? Only if absolutely necessary; best not touch either 15 or 966)
- - Loss of a direct link from Telok Kurau to Marine Terr - something LTA might be particularly picky on. A possible solution is to have 47 from Eunos loop at Marine Terr before crossing back to Marine Cres which adds to the journey time, but can save 150 from the need to ply Marine Terr.
- - DD restrictions at Ophir Rd / Rochor Rd / Kim Tian Rd. To be checked.
- - Right-turning restriction from Marine Cres to Marine Parade Rd. If true, re-route 47 to serve Still Rd South & East Coast Rd instead.

Hi mr AJQZC, there is enough terminating space at eunos interchange. You no need worry about this. Your suggested change may be slightly complicated as need to introduce 47M. Cheers.

858 still calls at the long TPE bus stop as well as the Jalan Kayu roundabout bus stops.
The only problem is loss of direct link from Sembawang/Woodlands to Airport.
