Jurong West Enhancements

Boon Lay Interchange -- JW St 64 -- JW Ave 4 -- JW Ave 2 -- Corporation Road -- Boon Lay Ave -- Boon Lay Place -- Boon Lay Dr -- Corporation Road -- Lakeside MRT -- Boon Lay Way -- Jurong Townhall Road -- JE Ave 1 -- Toh Guan Road... continues on current route to Bishan.
** Connects SIM/Ngee Ann, Clementi, IMM, Eng Teng Fong, Traders Center, International Business Park, Toh Guan road to Jurong East Ave 1, condos/housing estate along Lakeside MRT, Chinese Garden, Boon Lay Place. Unique connection.
** Connects Boon Lay Place mall to newly developed HDB estate along JW Ave 2 and Boon Lay Ave (no connection today inspite of being so close)
** Alternative Boon Lay MRT connection for JW Ave 2, JW St 64 residents
258
Joo Koon Interchange -- Benoi Road (exp) -- AYE (256 route) -- Pioneer Road North -- Pioneer MRT -- current route -- JW Ave 5 -- Jalan Bahar -- JW Ave 2 -- Corporation Road -- JW Ave 1 -- JW St 51 -- Lakeside MRT -- Corporation Road (178 route) -- AYE -- Jalan Boon Lay -- International Road -- Corporation Road & back...
** Merges with 256 that failed to pick up. Gives direct connection to JW town residents to industrial estate along Pioneer Road and AYE as well apart from Joo Koon
** Reduces duplication with 243G/W by providing st 81/82 residents direct connection to JW Ave 5, Jalan Bahar, Lakeside (no service today). Jalan Bahar is particularly important to transfer to 172/199 and JW Ave 5 to transfer to 185.
** Connects JW Ave 2/Ave 1 to Lakeside MRT (some duplication with 49 here)
** Connects Lakeside MRT to industrial estates along this stretch of AYE/International Road that does not have service today. It is considerable walk to 79/246 bus stop
** Covers missing link of abolished 178 as in my previous suggestion
246
Boon Lay Interchange -- current route -- Lakeside MRT -- Corporation Road (incl. sv 99 route) -- Boon Lay Ave -- Boon Lay Dr -- Corporation Road & back
** Minor tweaking to the route to provide direct Lakeside MRT connectivity to Corporation Road part where 99 plies
** 240/52 will continue to serve Lakeside - Boon Lay Place
256
Terminated and merged with 258. Number to be used in future for Tuas South Extension.
192
Diverted via JW St 61/62 to compensate loss of 256 between Pioneer-JW ST 61/62--Boon Lay.
** 241/179 continue to provide direct links between Boon Lay and Pioneer via JW St 63.
** Removal of 258 from Upper Jurong Road will also provide better loading to 99/192.
Last time Sbs6750E said that not many people is going to ride 165 from Sengkang...I dont know about 108 though since there are routes like this (50, 147, etc)
976 (BPJ to SGK)
Upper Bukit Timah Rd
PIE/KPE
Hougang Ave 3, 4
Buangkok Green
Sengkang West Rd*
*exclude if Buangkok Int exists

I agree with your 192/258 suggestions, 258 still maintains its Pioneer - Street 81 connection while reducing duplication, 258 along Upper Jurong Road is like a duplicate of 192 (while it helps to relieve 192's load at Jurong Camp, 192 is operating at a really good frequency during peak hours, hence, I support ammending 258 to ply 256's route to Pioneer)
Route Suggestion: Extension of Service 46 (Pasir Ris - Tampines - Changi Business Park)

Generally agree as well. But there may be some change in travelling patterns on 192 after Tuas MRT extension opens (as yet to be seen), so leaving 192 alone to ply Jurong Camp may have repercussions.

Don't think so. How would it impact? One service can manage the loading at Jurong Camp. Previously 182 was doing it quite okay. There wasn't even a connection to Pioneer or Joo Koon MRT then. Plus there will still be sv 99.

Yes I like the suggestion. I also believe that 46 and 68 can be merged rather than having 2 separate services.

46 and 68 served by different operators and 68 doesnt even serve Bedok area..46 can extend to loop further into Tampines estates rather than the interchange itself.

What can I say! Bad planning, again.

Then why not join LTA?They can't afford you?Why not join for the sake of experience? After few years quit lor.Cannot please everyone right?
I knew someone inside LTA that used to earn 5 digits per month..But for the sake of new environment he decided to join LTA and learn how stressful to please public.
76/134 inspired amendment for 40/152
Service 40 (Bedok <> Mcpherson Estate)
Current route to Tanjong Katong Rd > Geylang Rd > Paya Lebar Rd > Lor Bengkok > Circuit Rd > Pipit Rd > Circuit Rd > Lor Bengkok > Paya Lebar Rd > Sims Avenue > Tanjong Katong Rd > Current route to Bedok ITH.
Service 152 (Eunos <> Mcpherson Estate)
Sims Avenue > Still Rd > Koon Seng Rd > Dunman Rd > Tanjong Katong Rd > Geylang Rd > Aljunied Rd > Merpati Rd > Circuit Rd > Pipit Rd > Circuit Rd > Merpati Rd > Reverse route to Eunos.
Benefits
1. Service 40's new length will be 19km versus 23 km previously. This will enable it to be be operated at higher frequencies with its current fleet of just 7 buses.
2. New connection between East Coast Rd (I12 Katong area) and Paya Lebar MRT. Right now, the only MRT connection is at Dakota Stn via services 10 & 32.
3. New connection between Eunos & Koon Seng Road. Current EWL connection is at Kembangan MRT via service 33 at Joo Chiat Place which doesn't make sense.
4. New connection betwen Koon Seng Road/Dunman Road and amenities in Paya Lebar and Geylang Road.
Loss connection from East Coast Rd to Geylang Rd/Aljunied Rd/Merpati Road.
1. Merpati Rd/Aljunied Rd: Easily replicated by transfering to service 135 at Mountbatten Rd/Tanjong Katong Rd or by transfering to an assortment of services at Mcpherson Estate.
2. Geylang Rd: Transfer to service 152 at Tanjong Katong Rd or 197/134 and walk from Guilemard or Geylang East Central respectively.
62
Punggol - Marina Centre
Amendment to route 256:
- Skip Jurong West Street 62.
- Ply Jurong West Street 64 and Avenue 4, between Boon Lay Int and Jurong West Street 61.
- Skip Benoi Road.
- Take over route 192 between Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim and Tuas Bus Terminal.
Amendment to route 192:
- Skip existing section between Benoi Road and Tuas Terminal.
- Ply Upper Jurong Road all the way, and then ply PIE and Tuas Road.
- provide bus connections to the new Tuas MRT stations that are currently not available.
- somehow find a way to Tuas Bus Terminal.

859 has been looping in Yishun since the opening of YTBI
There has been feedback by many GA BCs to make svc 62 terminate at Lor 1 Terminal instead of loop. Also the last bus stop of Buangkok Green turning right to Buangkok Dr is too near and the yellow box is too small for svc 43.

For your Serivce 894, it sort of a reality soon as the suggested route for new canberra bto bus service is almost identical as the suggested route just some minor differences, from the new bus service announced thread, itlikely to be called 883.
appreciate if LTA can also adopt 809 but it's almost impossible for it to be called 809, maybe 881, but actually no way to loop at canberra street, only possibility is canberra way, canberra street, canberra view, canberra crescent, canberra way.

Everything is based on SG directory app.
Well, basically there's a Canberra Walk cutting Canberra Crescent
