965 969 still alright..
But 963/E/R 966 are really a joke.. They should have given NR5 NR6 NR7 to SBW-YIS package instead..
964 is under Woodlands anyway..

SBW - YIS package including Feeder 883.
883 should be a Trunk service and not a Feeder..

There will be operation of Punggol services everyday. Bus services are basic necessities and will not be stopped no matter which company wins the render. Cheers. Thanks.
I mean, who operates Loyang from 1 to 3 Sep (start of negotiated package to start of Loyang GCM package)?
Will there be massive depot re-deployment? E.g will 5, 57 go to full ARBP, 51 to full HGDEP.

no change. SBS Transit.
I think the new ones will replace the old ones.

Wait and see. It will be very slow move.
Premium services takes time to redevelop into the new bus contracting model. Separate bus companies will take premium services, or just withdraw it if there is more trips in City Direct or additional premium service.

If this happens good luck to the BCs already..

Was thinking it will be ARBP.. With extension for maintainance
I would have originally expected some current services from SMRT to be mixed with current SBST services in the package and therefore make SBST operate them as a result...but sadly they did not.
SBS Transit is getting $91.7m per year per contract, while SMRT is getting $103.6m per year per contract.
Both are far below TT's award amount per year for Bulim ($111.2m), and for SBS Transit even lower than Go Ahead's amount for Loyang ($99.5m).
Obviously TT is being seen as a "premium operator" here, even though it is not the case in Australia.

Just now during peak hours those Aedge Premium buses act like hooligans swerving into SBST/SMRT and TT buses..

So meaning TT is the Fav Son?

SMRT lor who else?
Hmmm I wonder if this means that 169 858 969 will get OCs back again..

I think for the time being AMDEP might take majority S169 S858 and S969.Wldep will be the minority.Sembawang will be control by AMDEP.WLDEP might gain back more Bt Panjang Svc instead.
anyone notice CT28 is missing? or did i overlook lol. Withdrawn in the future?
Guys, these are negotiated contracts, not packages.
Although this is an indication of how the Bus Contracting Model would be implemented, it does not mean all the routes in a contract will be in that contract throughout the duration.
As to why the original operators get less money than the new operators, it is probably because not all of the original operators' buses will be transferred to the LTA; part of the maintenance will continue to be borne by the original operators.
I still think 172 and 180 will eventually join their SBS counterparts at Boon Lay...
and, no, I do not think there will be changes to the packages already announced.
Originally posted by CZT:anyone notice CT28 is missing? or did i overlook lol. Withdrawn in the future?
Yes, CT28 is not there.
Anyway, you can use the CTRL + F shortcut to find something on the page. e.g. CTRL + F, then type 'CT28' in the box on top right corner. If there is no CT28 highlighted in the page, it is not in the page. The number on the right of the box states the number of the text in the box in the passage.
I'm disappointed that 160 and 170 is in the contract that will expire two years later. Seeing how the Malaysia people abuse our buses (custom people banging the bus, and their people spitting inside our bus), I feel sorry for the Mercedes Citaro and/or MAN A22 that will ply these routes. Hopefully, the LTA can buy cheap buses to ply these routes. I do not want our precious Mercedes buses to go to Malaysia...
