Just saw a Mercedes Benz with "CT18" driving pass me.
By the fact that it's not in the negotiated contract, is there a possibility that they will re-launch this route as a new route in future?
CT18 is IN the contract. CT28 (clementi route) is not. Get your facts right

ok. Sorry. My bad.
anyway, it's surprising that CT18 is still in operation, even though CNY already over long Long time ago...

CT8 and CT18 are always in operation the whole year round. Only CT28 operates during pre-CNY period....... =_=
CT8 and CT18 still operates regularly as it has a rather healthy loading or should i say people like this service as it brings them directly to chinatown. For CT28 becoz loading so bad it become liddat and not in contract list. We shall await for next year pre-CNY period to observe the fate of CT28, whether it is still in or has been withdrawn quietly. The only thing that will suggest this would be to check the bus stop pole whether this CT28 is still there or not. You can take a look at all its bus stop lo if you free
CT18 from what I see still has good loading within Bedok where it serves as an alternative

The cash worth it? HAHAHAHA
But then again from what I see about 20 pax still board frm Bedok Reservoir anyway especially during peak hours. Though I agree the fare is too expensive but at least its a getaway from the crowd and the KUBs
CT28 should be make full days like CT8 & CT18..Though its not full,But again it will serve as an alternative..Some commuters doesnt mind paying extra to get a seats and travel slightly faster
Now GA got a lot of extra BCs..Maybe preparation for those GA BCs wish to jump ship to Seletar?I knew 5 of them try their luck at TT.

Well took a ride and exchanged a few words wif the BC driving CT28. He mentioned that becoz the residents are not mostly elderly (not sure if its true) or they have moved out so ridership very poor. For the 2 times in the past 2 years joyriding it, i observe that loading is probably only ard 10 at its best, so how many buses would there be if it does the whole day? 2 to 3?

CT svc can do revamp
CT8/CT18 weekday 1030-1700 weekend 1000-2030 with a fleet of 7/8 buses.
CT28 weekend 1000-2100 with a fleet of 5 buses.

CT28 still at bus stop pole
CT18 might lose its pax to DTL3 when the latter starts operations.
Agree, but if its rerouted to serve areas such as Chai Chee or Bedok North it would be possible for it to survive
who knows, CT28 might be in Bulim Package

Well i guess we will have to wait for 2017 pre-CNY to see how it goes haha

Oh yeah true. Then can predict low pax loading and eventually operates on pre-CNY period? Wah liddat ony leave CT8 the most "survivable" CT service haha

Well would it even be possible thou your idea sounds good. What about Bedok South?

Wow. CT28 is really a "problem" sia.
Anyways do you guys think CT services will eventually be gone in the future due to more MRT lines built etc?

Hi mr CZT, yes. Cheers. Thanks.
I really hope that LTA will force GA to use the new MAN A95s at least. If LTA can let SMRT use Volvos why can't GA just take around 20 units of A95s and exchange those Lush Green SBS plate B9TL to SBST instead?

Patience. There's still another batch of A95s on order. If LTA still follow Transperth policy all operators will be forced to receive them.

There are a few Batch 3 units already at STK . Seems like before this year end we should be able to see the Batch 3 A95 on the roads or they want to do it like last time where all 60 Batch 2 A95 is move from here to there ( Storage ) .
