Just stick to current bus would be better...
IMO, after serval thoughts and rides on coaches, I think headrest seats isn't really going to be comfortable..

you won't be on a public bus for as long as you are on a coach. my neck is fine after constant bus rides. just don't fall asleep

yea the seats are too high and gives a weird feeling u kno.. (Or at lest to me) I think the current seats are fine, tho maybe can extend a lil higher for more comfort

Pardon my usage of the word "coaches", more of private bus rides.
The occasionally rides, some as short as 5-10mins, or as long as 20-40mins or rarely above 1hr, on these private buses, wasn't as comfort as the usual city bus seats already.
Same experience felt on those public buses in Taiwan(mainly those minibus and China coach-like buses).

I think such seats(with headrest) should be wider, rather than higher. But nevertheless, I think most of us can fell asleep without the need of headrest(on MRT)

Hmm drivers getting very stressful but pay increase by just 200?
If nothing improves, pax thinks $5 per trip not worth; driver got no incentive to join bus co.
SMB1476P 911 :
Ard 12:47pm, board the bus at Blk816. Bus arrive bus bay slowly. DDU shows GREEN | 1:10 behind exact time.
Afterwards, bus layover at the bus stop for a short while, even open door to pick up pax again.
Upon departing, it stops at the T junction, do a slow turn and stop at the traffic light for about 1-3mins. When reaching the next stop, DDU shows GREEN | 0:00 aka punctual. That's about 12:50pm, close to 12:51pm.
So it takes 4-5mins during off peak hours for the bus to travel from one stop to another? ._.

I was on 81B 308 and DDU showed early. After that the blue thingy suddenly disappeared and it became green???

i ever seen before from orange suddenly turn blue and vice versa... this DDU think not very accurate... sometimes can see on time but yet its orange/blue..

Yeah, seen this happened before as well. Bus was slightly crawling because it was showing blue on the DDU, then after a few minutes I look towards the DDU again it was orange. Definitely something inaccurate in the system.
That's bad...most newbie BC depend on the DDU, probably a reason why the svc is so slow.
Once encountered a situation whereby the mentor told the newbie driver to ignore the DDU timing, but rather practise spacing out from the front bus.
"As long you don't follow the backside of the front bus, that will do(Even if it's a bus stop away)." - mentor

Sorry but I feel otherwise... I defo need headrests on bus, easier to sleep and all...
Maybe coz I'm used to the seats on HK buses...

Business Park Drive,Mandai,East Coast and Kim Chuan will be multi storey..
The ddu timing (whr it shows green blue or orange) is quite inaccurate on most buses I've been on. The schedule ( shows Indiv stop timing) is better. Usually I rely on that instead. I've seen horrible colour indicator b4.
Oh yea, I think the colour indicator is more of showing the total time he will be late or Early instead of for one single stop? Sometimes I see bus actual 4mins late but ddu show 0:00 and when reaching up it matches the scheduled time

I was on SBS3461J on 43 in August (when 43 was still under SBST). The bus was 4 mins late (based on schedule), but was still crawling because the DDU showed 4 mins EARLY instead!
Anyway, the GA Buses previously under TT are very smelly. Can anyone explain this?

What smell? Your pang sai?
Just go to Punggol and take one of the 33xx Wrights.
I have also seen a few other pax cover their nose. (They were not sitting near me, if you insist it's pang sai)
I often try to avoid taking these buses. The SG plate buses don't have this same smell, but a different smell.

They forgot to close front door at Bulim so the dogs bake a cake and urine.

Hahaha,Anyway I don't really like full SDs or full DDs service.I love service with 60% DD and 40% SD or better 50/50.47 now ,BC two days drive SD,3rd day drive DD then back to SD.
