I don't think it's important to show the logo in that size. What matters to the public is the logo of the bus operator. Furthermore, with a common livery now, and a small sized number, it makes commuters hard to identify the buses he/she is waiting(i.e. only SMRT/SBST svces at the stop)

PTC finally comes to the realisation that the current fares are not sustainable at all, much less the current fare formula.
Not surprised if they choose to switch to Transperth's fare zone model, or even a flat fare system used by Adelaide Metro (both operated by TT in Australia).
Since not many commuters take from one end to another this is what they had planned.
Maybe fare start from $2-$3.50 max for trunk,$3-$5 max for Express.
Senior/Child and work concession increase by 20 cents?
Its time to recoup all those $$$$$$$$ spent on bus/train purchasing/Upgrading infrastructures,BC salaries etc hahahah.

Please STOP introducing stupid bus routes and add buses to feeder services like it doesn't cost anything.
Ofcourse fares will not be sustainable. I have been shouting about this for a long time to stop creating these stupid PPSS, add 20 buses to 291 and WDL Feeders and introduce routes like 46, 256 with DDs.
Ofcourse LTA is going to bleed one day and then start chopping everyhting and increasing fares.

If I understand PTC's statement correctly, Express and trunk fares will be the same.

imo it is still distance based. Though if they increase the fares any more, it just defeats the aim of being car lite.

You think LTA care much?Fares isn't the only reason to make Drivers left their vehicles at home or totally dont use car at all..Its the winding routes that deter most drivers from taking buses beside the slower than usual speed..Trains?With higher breakdown rates and packed like sardines?Thats one of the reason why i still kept my motorcycle and car.

And worse still, LTA is using fare raise to cover all these winding routes etc... Essentially a lose-lose situation!!

Because there is really no need for sv 68 to be honest.
If it is Pasir Ris - Tampines service, you already have 3, 15, 17, 21, 39, 58, 81, 518 covering different parts of Tampines to Pasir Ris Town.

Ha ha.. from when did LTA start caring about duplicating services. All their recent services duplicate majority part of the route. There are very few unique services that they launched.

Already the train breaks down very often, buses happily doing merry go round, the last thing is cost. Slow transport maybe.

When they reduce runtime its very short,Too short until BCs tend to skip bus stops and drive recklessly but when they add runtime,It too long and seriously too long until BCs kena whiplash by pax..Poor BCs only follow schedule also kena screw up for free..Salary only $1950 leh LTA not in UK where Drivers drive less hours,more off days but still earn 3-4k pound sterling per month leh.
