Yeah, give Kumho better. Nobody deserves control over >50% of market share. Maybe them Koreans can teach us old dogs a few new tricks? After all, they operate buses in Vietnam already don't they?

So LTA just let GA take over Pasir ris route n instead ask SBST/SMRT to help.
frankly speaking, I really dunno why GA need to have such schedule for BC to drive different route in one day. Does not see any benefit ? Less buses are used? Dun think so. Cut OT? Dun think so. What else?
Transdev in WA does it.

Hi mr lemon1974, Landtransportguru reported about GoAhead mismanagement. They say some have already resigned after Punggol takeover and soon after taking over pasir ris, there was another mass resignation. They are unhappy over no time to rest. They are being told to do 358 and 359 east and west loop non-stop without resting time at pasir ris int. They think that their previous company Sbs transit is better. They also did not fill up other positions and the offices at pasir ris closed already even when buses are still operating.
So I am not too sure whether Go Ahead Singapore will stop this current practice of interlinking. If they continue on and more resigned, does it mean they want to keep borrowing from Sbs transit and make other companies get into problems with other services in Singapore? Cheers. Thanks.
All, the Sbs bus drivers have temporarily taken over service 358 and 359 as what the channel 8 news stated last night. I saw with my own eyes right now that the drivers uniform is Sbs transit and the logo outside the bus is Go Ahead Singapore. Cheers. Thanks.

Why not return these two services to SBS Transit and in exchange for service 371 & Svc 372? I think they are better off operating feeder service than Townlink services.
Another issue, most of Svc 99 buses have gone over to SLBP and left 2 buses at BBDEP. Base on the package, 99 supposedly to be part of the Clementi or Ulu Pandan package controlled by BBDEP...
So is this considered a "Say different thing, do different thing" action?

They also having problem with feeders (382/386)..
not sure why you are asking about 99. Right now, it is under negotiated package, that mean SBST can determine where they want to park their buses (depending on their need/depots space etc)... If there are empty lots in SLBP and yet BBDEP is full, then it is logical for SBST to move 99 (or other services) to SLBP...
if LTA tell SBST to relocate all the services now, there will be issues cos there are 8 packages under SBST, but only 5 main depots.. so how is SBST going to allocate the services? further, SBST will definitely ask LTA to pay higher fees, because of more mileage travelled.
Further, Clementi package is due to start 9 years later..

Hi mr sbs9256X, service 371 and 372 are from sengkang int. Sengkang int is controlled by Sbs transit. I think you better leave it in Sbs transit hands. You will have a phobia if it is controlled by Go Ahead Singapore.
I think the Singapore local public transport market is best left to just 2 incumbents Sbs transit and smrt. Too small and too concentrated to divide the pie up. Rather than improving the system, they just need to maintain status quo. Cheers. Thanks.
I think its best to give Loyang to TT..Kick GA out..Nowadays i drive i feel like Gan Chiong all the time,Buses are sucks,Timing are sucks and still practice 2 svc.

I made myself clear,IF SBST Take over I quit.Either its TT or SMRT.
Those who remember ASIG at Changi Airport?Less than a year after CAG awarded them the 3rd ground handler after SATS and Dnata..Think will share the same fate

The problem is not many locals prefer SBST and SMRT although they got better reputation. You can still invite those foreign Operators on conditions..They should follow the incumbent style of schedule for the first 6 months before any changes.
The Best still is 4 operators so that there will be more opportunities for the BCs and staffs.5 is too much already.

Aiyah just let SMRT or TT take over Loyang la..At least SD spammed svc is better than Long frequencies right?Let TT win Seletar and the rest SBST can dominated

Hi mr carbikebus, Sbs3004X meant the operator to win seletar package. Not Loyang. It SBST wins seletar, you cannot quit since you are Go Ahead employee.
As for Loyang package, if go ahead gets kicked out, it will definitely be sbs transit taking over. Why I think like that? Because the only reason why kick out go ahead is bus schedule not reliable. The only way to prevent is must be call back the previous company which runs it for years. That company is Sbs transit. LTA always does things on a familiar situation. Cheers. Thanks.

Then you see i will quit first,No Thanks I'm not joining them.I rather join TT or SMRT or the fifth operator.

Hi mr carbikebus, very easy for them. They can go back to Sbs transit after 2 months contract. By the way, this is Go Ahead Singapore fault. They tendered low during bid thinking they could save costs for the interlinking schedule. They think whatever practise overseas can be used for Singapore small public transport context.
Anyway I have read that Go ahead Singapore has said they will start to revert back to the normal scheduling system for Punggol services first. Do you know if it has started today? This fact needs you to confirm. Hope they finally do it well for this tender. Cheers. Thanks.

I don't wish to elaborate more,Just hoping the best will come sooner..My sincere apologies to Punggol,Changi and Pasir Ris commuters especially to Mr DupDup77.

At least you are aware and apologetic but it is really not your fault. Have to tell the GA management that long frequencies and too many low capacity buses are not acceptable. People cannot make it for school exam is no joke. MRT breakdown, have procedure for can take exam later provided you still reach school/take exam at a different school. Bus come late/cannot board/go off route then how? There are people who got penalised because they late due to GA; if it had been MRT they would be given time to take paper.
Even VJC teacher give up and tell the school to take taxi during exam period already.
All, I saw many time keepers at almost all the berths at pasir ris interchange this morning. Think taking down time of Go ahead Singapore buses leaving pasir ris interchange. Cheers. Thanks.
Starting 23/9,Express 518 will ply KPE/PIE after MBS towards Pasir Ris.
maybe time for LTA to review the all the bus services for all operators
and those ANG MO company not even know our singapore well why LTA let them operated in the first place.

LTA find something that can be learned from Europeans..And to some extend its true..The way they train the BCs about defensive driving is totally different from our local..SBST/SMRT BCs love to stop very near behind motorists but Ang Mohs dont like..

HK bus scheduling and runtime introduced by the British long time ago.
518 ply KPE/PIE after MBS towards Pasir Ris tommorow,S17 now bi-directions and I'm not suprised if S62 terminate at Lor 1 Geylang
