854 around 3-4 split buses park at Loyang.

I think if SMRT decide to stop ONP at Lor 1,980 can park at Sembawang and Loyang.961 park at Amdep.853 can make terminate at Upp East Coast and park at Yishun and Loyang.

Last time i pity WPDEP 969 BC last bus and first bus off svc to and fro Tampines, now i pity 969 LYDEP BC having to off svc to and fro Woodlands for first n last bus and the subsequent shifts. Why cant they just put 969 half/half like all the SMRT LYDEP svc. Now all those 969 BCs most of them driving feeders if not 960/856 -

Heard from some reliable guys that LTA will increase A22s and additional A95s order beside those 122 units for all operators to use in future..Hmmmm meaning TT will get A95s,SBST and GA will also get the Voith A22s and ZF A95s?If this is true,Those non WAB DDs will gone sooner than expected?

There are some changes from 2016 onwards:
- 6 more Volvo Olympian 3-Axle (Batch 2) to be gone by September 2016.
- Analogue television will be phased out by end of 2016.
- The Volvo Olympian 3-Axle (Batch 3) will be gone by December 2017, in assuming that LTA will stop extension from April 2017.
- Mercedes-Benz O405G (Hispano MK2) will be extended 6 more months to match their partners, April 2017 - June 2017.
- The Scania K230UB and Volvo B10BLE will be gradually starting to be withdrawn from January 2018.
- The Mercedes-Benz O405G (Hispano Habit, Volgren) will be gone by 2021.
- The Volvo B10TLs and Dennis Tridents will be gone by 2022.
- 3G services in Singapore will be phased out by 2023.
- The Volvo B9TL (CDGE) will be gone by 2025.
- The Mercedes-Benz OC500LE will be gone by 2026.
Ministers at the age of 80s/90s will tend to have organs spoil. So the next possibilities could be:
- 2017 - Othman Wok
- 2018 - Ong Pang Boon
- 2019 - Jek Yeun Thong
- 2020 - Chiam See Tong
- 2021 - Ho Kah Leong, Lee Yiok Seng, Ng Kah Ting, Phua Bah Lee

All, it seems Go Ahead Singapore still has not fine-tuned its operation timing for buses. People highlighted in its facebook page that 2 buses of service 2 left Changi village terminal within few mins of each other this morning. They caught up with each other soon after a few stops and were seen moving together all the way. There was no noticeable traffic jam or bad traffic situation. One could only attribute it to bad planning by Go Ahead as the cause. It seems lessons from Punggol case were brought to pasir ris/Changi village operations as well. Cheers. Thanks.

Its just the first day of operations for the Pasir Ris side. Give them time. Every handover is different due to the different route profiles, as such, they will need time to learn how to manage the different routes.
Trust me, even if SMRT takes over SBS area, or SBS takes over SMRT area, the two long time operators will still face teething problems on the first few days.

Agreed..Furthermore whatever schedule you proposed still have to go through LTA,Not suka2 go here and there.Pasir Ris/CV/CGA is 80% former SBST BCs and management leh,Not some kucing kurap doing the job.

I think LTA ought to redeploy again those buses.Let all operators take in whatever LTA funded buses.No more cost saving reasons or whatsoever.
SBST/SMRT/TT/GA/Seletar winner:Volvo B9TL/MAN ND323F/MB Citaro/MAN NL323F
40 units of E500s each for those 5 operators which spare parts is fully bourned by LTA upon cases.
SBST and SMRT can continue to operate their Scania K230UBs and MB OC500LEs until certain time.A24 can continue to operate strictly for feeder and Intratowns only.

I know its just a temporary measure only cause TT also have excess of BCs.All except one GA EB BC is all out for svc till month end.

They helped us and next time we also help them.Afterall we're not competitors anymore,We are working for LTA indirectly..Dunno if SBST and SMRT BCs think this way.

Hi mr sbs351M, it is not issue of handover, etc. Some pasir ris services experience long waiting time of 30 mins and the departure timing shown on the tv screens do not coincide with the actual bus departure times. They experience this at Punggol 2 weeks ago. Since it happens again today, it is super obvious nothing has ever changed. Cheers. Thanks.

if chronic shortage of BC is still occurring with service levels affected, expect what happened when SMRT sacked its striking drivers to happen again.
