Go-Ahead has raised its bus captain starting salary to S$1,950.
It seems that Go-Ahead's "strategy" is to match the highest pay of other bus companies.
Last time match Tower Transit's pay (which was the highest then), now match SBS Transit's pay (the highest now).
Loyang package will commence in September, so confirm one of the implementation tranche is during the september school holidays (3-11 Sept) - very likely on 4 Sept, since the following weekend after that is Hari Raya (12 Sept) when demand would be higher.
Meanwhile, the other two tranches may be on 18 Sept and 2 Oct, considering previously Bulim's tranches were two weeks apart.
If so, there's still two months before Go Ahead begins its Loyang package. The next two months will see many buses going into Loyang Depot.

Recently got rumour about Temasek Holdings going to buy the remaining 40% share of SMRT, where it currently has 60% share in the corporation. Temasek Holdings is aka Government. If SMRT is 100% owned by Temasek, it would be as good as government-owned. If so, I do not think SMRT will participate in the BCM, because if SMRT wins it would be like government ownself give ownself contract like that. Well, this is just my two cents worth.

Guys, the logic behind this is simple:
They just want to show attitude.
Tower Transit should just fire them, if they are not able to produce MC or clinic receipt to show that they are genuinely not feeling well.

Well theyre used to their previous company style..I knew that TT practice 2 service duty per day but again if they dont like it,Can just held a meeting with the management mah..
