969 was terrible horrible vegetable...
Morning at the traffic junction before first stop, alr got bunch up departure(47B & 5744S). Not far from it, at WTBI entrance, 1039X depart on 969.
Evening peak was worst. 3x 965(2 A22 + 1 ADL) = 1x 969(Taro). Next 2 buses is 30mins later.
Sv951E..early morning 7:17am, suppose to be a DD. But downgraded to 3157Y. I can feel how "sianz" the queue of pax is.
Have been hearing the Office staff @ TWRI announcing this message many many times:
"Bus Captain ######, please check your departure time. Thank you"

Thats what you get when AMDEP takes over a service. Last time out 851 and.859 swap depots, 851 went from 6 WDL bendies to the 2 AMDEP bendies from 859.

Knowing AMDEP (and inherently LYDEP) I kinda expected that. Their mentality is to use as little HC buses and as many SD as possible.
Today even 857 and 854 felt to be overflowing with Shitaros and OCs respectively.

HC on split shift? Then 969 is clearly going the 851 way... remember 851 has 0 AP and max 6 perm split bendies that are most of the time loaned to 856 in the morning and 61/67 in the evenings anyway.. only until within the last year then there are finally 2 AP bendies.

It is funny a lot of bus fans see different depots as if they are different companies who can choose what buses they want to operate. The fact is such decisions are made at a higher level, the depots just carry out what the HQ asks them to, and of course the HQ will know what type of resources should be given to who to make the operations of the company as a whole as efficient as possible. Complex planning is required and it is certainly not as simple as what some make it out to be.
