43 loading is very inconsistent throughout the day.
Very High: Sengkang (Buangkok MRT) > Serangoon (AM Peak), Serangoon > Sengkang/Punggol (PM Peak), Paya Lebar - Marine Parade (AM and PM peak)
High: Serangoon > Punggol (AM Peak), Punggol > Serangoon (PM Peak)
Medium: Punggol - Sengkang (Peak), Marine Parade - UEC
Low: Punggol - Sengkang (Off-Peak)
I'm not very sure for the Paya Lebar part.
156:
High: Sengkang > Serangoon (AM Peak), Serangoon > Sengkang (PM Peak)
Low: Serangoon - Sengkang (Off-Peak)
43 on Saturdays is extremely packed, yet there are not enough DDs.
851 i would put it as high on average,Am peak can get very packed even if bendy is deployed and SD freq is not that bad either. After 0945-1300 hrs loading is moderate,1400-1600 can get quite high but still manageable with SDs until the PM peak..After 2100 hrs loading drop down..

Took 825 before during weekday peak hours. The perm Rosas are usually near fully seated with occasional 1-3 standees.
Unless SMRT take over 825 again,Maybe 3 perm ZF Citaros will be nice.

Loading is around 15-20 pax during peak hours, well managed by mini buses. Frequency is around 8-12 mins.

Did saw a fully seated Rosa back to back with a few standees during Pm peak.

I dunno if the idea is good to have 4 buses for Svc 825 (10 mins frequency)... I see the route seems accessible for a normal 12m bus...

825 used to have Nissan UDs and Dennis Lance during TIBS era

Yeah, I remember... Then let it run like Svc 42 for Kembangan/Fidelio/Opera Estate... Though it will be like not many ppl will take or unless the route is different...
23 loading is Extremely Super High, during morning and evening peak, and even nights.
Bus is always very crowded with passenger standing at doors, and waiting time can be up to 20 minutes.
This has been happening for many years already, and seems that no one bother. Wonder why the PTC's QoS and LTA's BSEP and regulatory framework seems to be strangely silent on this particular service.

Strangely enough SBST has been generally extremely stingy on its resource allocation on PIE svcs... What an idiotic move

Opposite for TPE service which they add buses like mad cow..

Don't agree. whoever it is talking about sv 23 is merely exagerrating. 59 also is doing pretty okay and got 4 DDs in recent past. sv 23 got its fleet increased from 14 to 18 buses + made full fleet DD and even 506 has gotten DDs. 45 that also touched PIE got 9 DDs in recent years.
Only sv 5 I would have liked if gotten more 2 SD->DD upgrade.

Thats true but generally I feel SBST has been spamming its resources on winding trunks instead... And it definitely isnt true 23 is exaggerated... Go to Boon Keng in the evening on ANY DAY and you will think twice about saying that

Actually SBST has slowed down upgrading/adding buses on services. Hardly any in the last quarter. Most services in my opinion are quite okay. The ones where I personally feel some upgrades (not fleet add) is required are:
5
30
43
103
109
111
181
For me, the services I think needs fleet upgrades are:
7 - Full DD on weekend nights, see svc 111 notes (towards Clementi instead of Queenstown), for weekdays 7 is doing fine, IMO 7 is the fastest connection between Clementi and Orchard (with 106 as an alternative)
30 - 2-3 SD (1 bus crossover to 536) with the rest of the fleet DD
99 - to full DD, can even reduce buses once the KUBs and citaro is out (I noticed that 5132X tends to bunch with a DD during off-peak and 5132X takes the load as it is ahead of the DD)
111 - SDs can be packed to the door on weekend nights by the time it reaches Trader Hotel/Tanglin Mall towards Queenstown, sure could use more DDs, DDs can get over 60 pax during nighttime
181 - I agree that 181 could use a fleet upgrade given the high peak hour loading
240 - overly spammed with SD, can cut 1-2 buses after upgrade
Yishun Int:171 Peak hour is high and off peak is Medium and low.
800:Peak/Off peak hour is moderate.Maybe because of the recent fleet added.
803:Peak/Off peak is low on average basis.
804:Peak hour is super high while off peak is moderate.
805:Peak hour is moderate and off peak is low.

99 upgrade seriously can clear space in BBDEP. That's assuming they throw away the SDs displaced.
No use upgrading for ARBP 5, unless they throw the SDs as well. But fleet cut fo 5 is definitely a no-no, judging by the frequency.
Looks like a SG A95 that do 172 Split shift
I hope that SMRT AMDEP can get 8 Wrights. 4 for 854, 3 for 860 and 1 spare.
854
Current fleet: 30 buses
14 bendies, 4 DDs and 12 SDs
HC: 60%
WAB: 53.33%
Total capacity: 3702 pax
New fleet: 27 buses
12 bendies, 8 DDs and 7 SDs
HC: 74.07%
WAB: 55.56%
Total capacity: 3486 pax
Double improvements. And one more, less bunching.
Only one regression, total capacity.
(Total capacity refers to the combined capacity, seated and standing, of all buses in the fleet of the bus service.)
If SDs are cut, HC will go up, but WAB and total capacity will go down.
If bendies are upgraded from SDs, HC and total capacity will go up, but WAB will go down drastically. (If they don't use A24s.)
Depends if they wanna park 854 split shift buses at Loyang.
