Electric buses, charging stations part of proposals in LTA’s 2050 road map
my view is LTA should build a BRT system that can support the MRT system and those buses use in the BRT will be electric and engine but no to batteries. the BRT bus can move on the lane build for them where they may be able to be switch to electric along the BRT lane that they travel and also lane like track skip key traffic junction and the bus move non stop to the next bus stop.
another idea seems to be stupid or crazy is to use air-ships each can carry 200 to 300 people moving from one station to another. this might change the way people taking transport or driving cars. air-ship station is simple to build and air-ship can land almost every where. air-ship will have little pollution and is not noisy enough to disturb people on the ground.
Prepared for fare ranging from $6-10 in 36 years time.
Last time is CNG bus, now is Electric bus...
Why not ask our local universities to create a bus that runs on solar power?
Solar power is free and does not emit anything.
If we install solar panels on every bus, each bus can supply its own power and we can save on charging stations.
However, the problem is how to generate enough power even with minimal sun light, and how to off the solar panels when enough power is generated.
It's not simple, but imagine how much money we can make if we create a solar-powered bus, patent it and commercialise it.
maintenance and cost
...
Maybe hybrid of electric and diesel engine is more better..Speed below 40kmh use electric,41-60kmh use diesel...Kakakaa
...
By 2050, buses will be driverless.
For now, would you accept BYD? Or more possibly, ADL Enviro200EV?
That would be perfect for TT's timetable.
