1. Will bus service information (routes, freq etc) be available on the company websites? Though it is also available on transitlink/ MyTransport.sg, I believe many commuters also refer to SBST/SMRT websites currently.
2. Will the new buses under TT/GA all have the new green livery from the first day of service? Some have already been restickered, but there may be confusion if buses operated by TT/GA still have the old SBST/SMRT livery.
3. Will bus service information at bus stops and interchanges be updated? On bus stop poles and bus svc info panels, SBST svcs are shown in red and SMRT svcs in grey, but it may be quite impractical to stick to this convention if bus svcs keep changing operators.
Hi mr 201911, for item 3, bus service information at panels on bus stops will definitely be updated as this is a prerequisite by LTA to successful bidders. Cheers. Thanks.

Same for 243G/W years ago, I think it was due to the turn from St 61 to St 62 that make it not possible to deploy DDs on 243G until the junction has been modified with the zebra crossing removed
Probably not, but 410W has much higher loading than 410G (but only for a short sector), justifying the DDs. From Junction 8/Bishan MRT, towards St 22 and Sin Ming, many pax prefer to take 410W or 52 from the interchange instead of the bus stop opp Bishan MRT (NSL exit), to get a seat.
In the opposite direction from Sin Ming/St 22 towards Junction 8/Bishan MRT, pax prefer taking 52 (and 13, 54, 88 along St 22) to Bishan MRT, as it is more direct than 410G to Bishan Int.
Service 43 on weekends schedule is weird. I suspect that for all A/P duties, the BC can choose whether to drive SD or DD!
For the T shift duty, it has always been DD without fail.
Nine bus routes at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange will be taken over by Tower Transit next Sunday. Can I assume that all the buses currently deployed on those bus routes would go to Tower Transit?

Then what will happen to the 87 DDs currently under TT?

So, it is a "No"? Okay. Thanks.

I am hoping that the DDs on 106/189 will go back to SMRT so that they can deploy on SMRT services whereas the TT registered SG buses will be deployed on 106/189.

Means SMRT will still need parking at Bulim depot..

Following up on question 3, I'm also curious to know if the GCM taken over services will use (I speculate 3 possibilities)
1. A general colour for all GCM services (meaning TT and GA uses one colour, SBST uses red and SMRT uses grey)
2. Each operator uses a different colour
3. The colour of the sticker remains the same (least likely among the three)
i would think that each contract group will use different colours.
Contract 1 - Bulim: White on Green (Tower Transit)
Contract 2 - Loyang: Black on Yellow (Go-Ahead Buses)
Contract 3 - Sungei Seletar: White on Red
Contract 4 - Mandai: White on Blue
There are about a total of 12 contracts, 8 will be contracted out while 4 will remain under SMRT or ComfortDelGro (2 each). Scheme B and Private Operated Public Buses (E.g. AC7) uses the standard black on light green background.
Can a 12m bus go by Clementi St 13?

Huh?I thought only 3 contracts are only for biddings? The remaining will be run by both SBST/SMRT until their BSOL expire in 2022?

from now till 2023
Four depots
Contract 1 by Tower Transit
Contract 2 by Go-Ahead Buses (Part of the Go-Ahead Group)
Contract 3 by unknown (Probably SMRT)
Contract 4* (not contracted until 2023)
Mandai is special case, this bus depot will be held by SMRT until 2023 (4-5 years use)

i saw a tweet from one of the TT staff that post
it showed the wright is on painting job to lush green and said something like preparing for next week
is that a sign that 106 and 189 will get wright buses?
With regards to the colours of stickers used at the bus pole and bus information board, I do not think each package will be assigned a unique colour.
The reason is that there will be around twelve packages, and there are only nine colours that we can see - white, black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.
Instead, I think all packages will use the same set of colours used to distinguish different types of bus service - trunk, feeder, express.
Since SBS Transit uses red and SMRT uses white, red and white are out.
Personally, my choices are green for trunk, blue for feeder, violet for express.

Huh?I thought contract no 4 is Ulu Pandan in 2018?Mandai is 2019.Where is the sources for these?

Think the BUkit batok services will be using the new citaros n wrights as there are at least 120 new buses (instead of 50 as claim by LTA previously). While the A22/E500 (if they transfer over) undergo repainting of livery or paste some full Ad on it within the 2 weeks before the next batch of transfer. Once the buses are rwpainted they can be deployed . While for those SBST buses, TT can deploy those with full body ads while those ad less will undergo repainting.
If they deploy SBST/smrt buses without repainting then it will look like "Rojak"image already
But some guy say that based on his calculation need 1 year plus to repaint the 367 buses.

I doubt that it's painted actually. It looks exactly like the one on SG5017H (or perhaps it's that bus), which is actually just a wrap.

Let me guess,Gaypohboy?Bulim has the spray painting booth also.

I think the wrap is for the take over while the painting will be progressively deployed once its ready and the wrap bodied buses will have their painting turn

Ive already emphasized this standard thingy before but some guy die2 say operation is more important..
How many painting booths does Bulim Depot have?
By the way, are the pixels on SMRT new livery painted on a wrap or painted on the bus? If the pixels were painted, I feel sorry for the people removing the pixels - imagine how much thinner they have to use and how much scrubbing they have to do to remove the paint.
