Please take the effort to go read the announcement at your bus stops at marine terrace. There is no 155, 160. It is 150 that can take you to Eunos or 134 to Paya Lebar.

To add on to your points, many of the examples you raised had either ZERO or INCOMPLETE replacements at all (with regards to 989, lost connections along Jln Kolam Ayer and in CGA). Affected commuters are expected to use other alternatives to get to places served by these withdrawn/shortened services.
At least the removal of 76 from Marine Parade did see a replacement in the form of sv134, and in another recent example, the lost sectors of 189 in West Coast and KRT entirely replaced with 201.
The issues now just come down to improving the frequencies of either the replacement sv and the alternatives along the deleted sectors.

Yeah. But 2 weeks after the amendment, lots of paxes still do not know that sv 76 have been amended. All of them rushing to board sv76 at paya Lebar station.

Hi mr lemon1974, this is perfectly normal. Some don't even know after 6 months. There are many people in Punggol who are still ignorant of new bus services sbs 117 and 118 being introduced after few months. Some heard of but don't even bother to know the routes of the new buses. Not everybody is into buses and not everybody is interested. They just want to go home only. Cheers. Thanks.

Confusion is actually just one side of it. The impact is that everyone who used to take 43 and 76 from Marine Parade to places north of Paya Lebar MRT will want to take 43 now instead of taking 134 or 150 and transferring to 76, this means increased loads on 43.

In a way its bad to amend svc 76,966 should be terminate elsewhere if we are talking about driver's welfare and freq.
Can look up sbs iris and mytransportsg app for buses services details too

Split 966 into Woodlands - Eunos, and St Michaels - Marine Parade (loop)?

150 doesn't go to Parkway Parade though. There's 15 at Jln Eunos, but it doesn't bridge the link to Toa Payoh and PIE.

then there is an issue somewhere... that mean the publicity is not good enough....they need to do something on the publicity....
U need not be interested in buses to know the bus routes.. even my wife who take sv76 daily from YCk back home does not even know the amendment... the notice is way too small.... and at the few AMK bus stops, that poster is not facing the bus stop but at another angle (that holder is a triangular holder)...

and vice versa... just take last friday evening as example... sv43 arrive at paya lebar station bus stop at 1843...next bus at 1911... 28 mins frequency.... so those paxes at us stops before Paya lebar station that are going marine parade can either just wait (and hope that they can board the bus) or either take other buses to paya lebar station and do a transfer.... but then there is no guarantee that u can board the buses (134/135/43) that are arriving at paya lebar station..and someone say that 15-19 mins frequency is acceptable for sv43 at 6-7 pm as it is past the peak hours...
sv134 arrive at 1900hrs
sv135 arrive at around 1905

Yah, whats more 134 frequency I think isn't as good as 76, meaning generally there is a decrease in service standards.

IF IF i say If 966 were to terminate at Eunos,150 can skip T Kurau and go all the way covering 966 deleted sectors. From Int might have to turn right,Turn right again to Eunos Cres,Turn left and right start from Jln Eunos bus stop,Lol

I think the triangular holders for new bus stop poles don't display announcements/route changes clearly enough, at least the old way of tying the posters to the bus stop pole is more obvious and eye catching.
Haven't taken 134 yet but when 189/201 was amended, there was SMRT staff at Clementi MRT telling everyone to take 201 to west coast instead.

True... they can hang more posters at each bus stop.. and think put more posters in the buses as well.... yes.. there is one staff at paya lebar mrt bus stop, but she is not really doing the job... just stand and see only.... lots of pax are still rushing to board sv76.. the BC have to keep telling buses going eunos only....

Unfortunately, some forumers here are just too ignorant on 134's "typical BSEP frequency". What's more, they are talking as if 76's frequency used to be 20-30 mins full day...

Hi mr sbs351M, sbs 134 frequency is 10-12 min which seems ok. Cheers. Thanks.

on paper it is 10-12 min but in reality it takes 15 at least... sometimes the 76 arrives just to see the 134 depart / vice versa which wastes time and causes inconvenience

Not true. 134 consistently arrives at 10-12 minutes frequency. Please see "loading level" thread where I have documented exact timings.
