Originally posted by array88:Road A is within SBST territory, but the only three services that ply the entire road A in both directions, Services B, C, D, are all SMRT services (before Tower Transit took over some of them). Services B and C share a common Interchange E, and Services C and D share a common Terminal F.
At one end of Road A, Service D turns left, Service C turns right and Service B goes straight. Service B then makes a U-turn at Junction G which is not its looping point. Service H also makes a U-turn at Junction G, but in a different way.
Service H has the same Terminal I as Services (H-1) and (H-2). Services B and D also pass by Terminal I within close proximity.
Another Service J shares some similarly in route with Service D between Terminal F and Junction G, but it does not pass by Terminal I. This makes Service J faster than Service D when travelling from Terminal F to Junction G. Services D and J are also the only two trunk services at MRT Station K.Determine:
Road A,
Services B, C, D, H, J, and the similarity between D and J,
Interchange E,
Terminals F, I,
Junction G,
and MRT Station K.
Current thought progress:
Finding MRT station K with only two trunks, an SMRT/TTS (D) and another (J) that both go to junction G (where there's a U-turn with at least B, D, H, J) would be a good start.
Considering that at least one among B, C, D is a Tower Transit service previously under SMRT, E must be Bt Batok. Otherwise, the possibilities are:
I was posting which is the most unique 3 digit bus number in the south. Apparantly 408 is the answer, although this is too obvious (hehe)
Though it would have been otherwise 855 if not for 409, since 855 goes on a unique route which no other route follows in such a strange pattern, serving only Farrer Rd station up till around YCK where it meets other services to Yishun
Services A and B do not share a common terminal, but are both bi-directional SBST services which one terminal is SMRT territory. Both services make a U-turn at the same place.
Service C is in a GCM package D, shares a terminal X with B, and makes 4 U-turns in its route. It does not make a U-turn at its looping point.
Find:
Services A, B and C,
GCM Package D,
Terminal X.

All 3 svc will exit from Interchange A and they all will share 2 stops together before Svc B split up with C and D. C and D will meet again at MRT Station E where they will travel straight before Service B split up for one bus stop and then reunite with the other 2 svc and then all 3 will go straight into Expressway F and G until Service C split up at Road H where D and B go straight again until D split up at Road I and then Svc B goes all the way to Terminal J.
Service C and D after splitting up from Svc B will share MRT Station K and will meet and Road L with Svc B but Svc B wont travel with C and D and instead go to Station M and will share some part of Service D route.
What are these 3 services?

Read the short passage below and answer the questions that follows
Introduced one day apart, these two services serves towns A and B, Service X is a SBST service that bypasses town B, Service Y is a SMRT service that terminates at town B's interchange, X and Y both terminates at the interchange of town A
(a) Identify bus services X and Y and hence, state the routes plied by the two bus services
(b) Identify towns A and B
(c) On which day, month and year were service X and Y introduced?
a) X: 168 Bedok - Woodlands
Y: 969 Woodlands - Tampines
b) A: Woodlands
B: Tampines
c) X: 14 Apr 2001
Y: 15 Apr 2001

LOL, that was a good trick question... I don'the think many people would think it was possible that the Interchange A was not in the east.

Correct.
What is the smallest SBST bus service number that goes nowhere near the east of Singapore?
North-East is not counted. 41 and 49 cannot also because they are now in TT.
East is Bedok, Tampines and Pasir Ris. Airport terminal, UEC, CBP and Kembangan also counted. Pass through or loop also counted.
Stadium also counted

52 can?

Name three bus services that used to serve Jurong West Street 91 before being ammended or withdrawn (excluding Nite Owl 174M and 8N)

Still have smaller number. No GCM package currently.
No, this is not a trick question.

If you disregard all the services that go to the above towns and areas, then the current smallest SBS service number that doesn't go anywhere near has to be 50.

Correct.
I took Bus A to the next town and took Bus B to a park full of lalangs. I took the same bus back to the interchange and took Bus C to another town, in which the bus followed 88 along the way to the inner parts of an eastern town. Then, I took the same bus to another interchange and went to Bus D to a nearby hospital
What are the buses?
