Saturdays need 3 full DDs & 2 S/T DDs and Sundays just 3-4 full DDs given the 12-14 mins frequency. 136 need 3 split DDs during weekdays and 2 full DDs during weekends.
136 weekends loading quite moderate. Maybe 1 full and 1 for weekends night?

All, this shows LTA has foresight in planning for the future when they launch service 46 earlier. Cheers. Thanks.

So this svc is planned for the DTL in advance, can see from the high pax activity at both DTL stations. Good job LTA!!

Wah Svc 46 got 70 pax?I can buy Toto already..
Ba dum tsss. Now lets wait for 71's turn with TEL. I am also anticipating full load on 117 with more developments in all the parts of the route

simulated loading lah......dun think so much about toto..

Hi mr lemon1974, give bus analyzer some credit. The loading is real. Not simulated. The effect of Mrt stations can be easily felt. That is why I always say MRT is the focus in Singapore transport plan. Buses have to play second fiddle. When buses ply routes with mrt stations along the way, the bus stops next to mrt will always have huge crowds. Cheers. Thanks.

how do you know it is real? esp after that 110 incident......,
I suggest you observe it then cos I am actually neutral about it

Hi mr lemon1974, he has already replied he will not post simulated loadings ever since after that incident. We should all take the words of our forum members for it. Morevee, he has always provided many loadings for numerous services over the years. Cheers. Thanks.

Not suprised tho as it is peak hour. But PM loadings still horrible

Got a Friend who drive 46...Anything beyond 70 paxs is only a couple of Am peak hour timing.

71 will probably get loading from AMK Ave 1 to Bishan for CCL and as an alternative to 262 for NSL. Even after TEL opens, Ave 4 pax will still have 76/268 to Mayflower MRT, so 71's main role is still to fetch Ave 1 pax...
I think 268 can have two SD upgrade to DD for AM and PM peak only

Agreed,In fact can deploy 1 full day and 3 split DD thus can cut 5 SD
265 also deploy 2-3 DD

I was surprised with the loading. Clearly DTL effect. Also note that I think the bus was 2 mins late or so, hence more pax. I have seen most buses in PM still struggle with loading. Tampines - Tampines DTL (10-20 pax), DTL3 - Bedok North (40-50 pax). Still except 2-3 trips, I don't think has DD loading.

LTA could have done better job planning svc 46. It is important to link to DTL3. Hence, svc 137 also has come. 46 still I don't think needs so many DDs for its route but nevertheless I was happy to see loading picked up after 2 years of running empty buses.
Now, they need another service connecting Bedok North Ave 4 to DTL3, Bedok Reservoir connecting Bedok North DTL3 and Chai Chee to DTL3. It can be same service doing the job

I have been one of the biggest critic of svc 46. I would have manipulated the loading if that is how I post loadings here. Anyway, if you want to think it is simulated, I cannot change what you want to think.

71 will have good loading from Ave 1 to CCL/NSL. Loading will be uni-directional only.

DDs on 265 and 268 are long overdue. Likewise for 261 and 269. I think AMDEP control needs to trial and see. Can always take it out if doesnt go well.

261 is because of the tight turns in the industrial park
265 not sure why cannot DD unless due to the slope at St 51 but then 265 rlly need improve its freq. Freq quite horrible for weekends 11 -13 mins per bus
268 Peak need DD. Off-peak dont need. 268 loading for off-peak is low to moderate cause it depends on which bus arrive first
269 DD able. But depends on which bus arrive first also
