Perhaps people board at St 51 so that they can take 335 if it comes first?

147 was originally single decker bus fleet until 1984. Double deckers were slowly introduced. With the absorbing of bus service 148, 83 and 101 into route 147, it became 80% double decker fleet. With another absorbing of bus service 81 & 103 (Serangoon-New Bridge Road) after NEL opening, 147 is full fleet DD.
Can someone do loading analysis for 883? 1 SD change to 1 DD WEF this week
All i know is that 883 can get packed to door with SD, so confirm lots of seats taken
Originally posted by array88:Note the time is 1530h... Still too early for loading to reach the peak.
Ive driven both 43/43M and I'm sure what is I'm talking about.

Right now just add 1 more split duty with DD.1 A/P duty already is DD.
Originally posted by lemon1974:all these loading analysis are not real at all... can just ignore.... he stay jurong and he boarded 110 at 642 am at sengkang?
I take first bus and train.
5:15am bus, 5:30am train.
You can try it yourself.
Earliest arrival at Sengkang MRT Station is 6:31am.
Via bus, EWL, CCL and NEL.
At normal walking pace.
(first connecting train is timed to allow about 5-10mins transfer anyway, so no point running.)

Remarks:
- Bus was late in headway by 3.5 mins
- Svc 25 should have an almost full fleet DDs especially during peak hours as both directions will be equally crowded towards various destinations along its routing (towards AMK, Kaki Bukit/Ubi Industrial Estate and Eunos Stn)

Hi mr lemon1974, you mean he is gekpohboy? Cheers. Thanks.
Oui
Happened to observe 60 yesterday during peak hours...interestingly the load is spread out among all areas. Some start from Bedok, some from Eunos and others from Bedok North. Load seems lighter at times but demandwise remains the same

Svc 49 is like a feeder route. Taman Jurong residents benefits a lot from this svc whether to commute to Lakeside MRT / JW Ave 1 / Jurong East Central. I think svc 98 comes after ur bus at Corporation Rd which explains the heavy loading to Lakeside MRT. I'm interested to see the loading back to JE though.

*Highest loading occured at Bishan St 22 twds Bishan MRT, followed by highest passenger alighting activity at Bishan MRT
*Demand is well spread thorughout the route in this off peak hour, mainly shuttling commuters from River Valley to Orchard, Thomson-Marymount to Bishan North Shopping Mall and serve as a feeder for Bishan residents to Bishan MRT.
*I'm surprised at the loading at Bishan St 13 to Bishan Central, I thought residents along that area would walk to MRT due to its short distance, maybe I'm not too familiar with the area.
How about the other direction? What's the loading like? Does anyone knows?
