If 127 is extended via Tampines Road, it needs to enter the industrial park in both directions to maintain the link, and thus it will become way slower than 72. Not to forget 72 has a more robust frequency than 127.
The only way for 127 to work is for Tampines North to get more developed so that 127 can be diverted there.

127 still got loadings,Peak hours an average of 20-30 paxs including those at Tampines Concourse..Off loadings is worse..Sometimes one full trips only 2-4 pax travel to Industrial and there is no need to amend the routing,Just don't deploy DD la

Should just put the svc 127 DDs on svc 129 instead ...
129 is doing fine with 10 DD and 5 SD..Even a DD replace SD slot sometimes.Just deploy to other needed Tampines svc will do.
Better to extend 127 to Logistics park... can still call at Siltronic in both directions.

Good idea,At least help 72 in both directions...

248 is doing better than 247 due to demand from foreign workers between Tuas Link MRT and the foreign worker dormitories along Tuas South Ave 14.
The peak demand for 247 only comes from the sector between Tuas Cres and Tuas Cres MRT.

247 doesnt need full DD,248 most probably can have 5 DD / 3 SD.
Today i drive DD for the first time since last 11 days!
2 full trips
0537-0645:Get fully loaded lower deck and probably around 12 pax at the upper deck once bus reach Pasir Ris St 21.Maybe because if school holiday 10 mins freq in the morning? Most of them alighted at Pasir Ris MRT.After that not much ppl until Punggol Ctrl where my bus get full again although there is service 85 1 bus stop ahead.
Mealbreaks 0645-0707
0707-0828:Not that much until Punggol Field where quite a number of pax travelling beyond TPE bus stops.Lower deck fully seated and there's around 20 pax at the upper deck mostly workers to Water Fab Pasir Ris.After TPE,Where around 20 pax alighted,Get fully loaded again at Pasir Ris St 71 mostly to MRT.And after that bus is nearly empty all the way to Loyang Ave where the famous peak hour jam start.I managed to squeeze through by using the most right lane🤣Pax was an average of 20 only.Get another 10 pax once i turned into Tampines St 21 and majority alighted opp Tampines MRT.Reach Int at 0832.
Break is actually 0828-0839.
0839-0953=Only 1 pax boarded at Tampines Int.A few others also boarded at Ave 4,St 21 and most of them alighting for a few stops.Ave 2 gets another 7 pax.JC another 4 pax and most of them alighting at Pasir Ris St 21.Pasir Ris St 21 get only a combined of not more than 25 pax to MRT.Pasir Ris Dr 4 gets another 8-10 pax.Once reach MRT,I was early by more than 5 mins.Bus was nearly empty at the upper deck and get half full at the lower all the way until Punggol.Punggol Ctrl get more pax again all the way to Int.
Mealbreaks 0953-1035
1035-1151=An average of 30 paxs.
1151-1206 to Lydep.Off duty @ 1211.
My conclusion will be Weekdays:3 SD then DD
School Holidays Weekdays:4 SD 1 DD sequence
Saturdays:4 SD 1 DD sequence since they cut 4 duties.
Sundays/PHs:3 SD 1 DD sequence since they cut 5 duties.
Can take 4 DDs more from 83 & 85.

this kind of long feeder services would do good... take 301 as an example, there are other kind of demand besides residents commuting back to the bto

Random observation
Svc 4 KUB left Tamp Ave 7 full to the door at around 2000hr towards Flora Rd (next stop), took the next Svc 4 WEG around 8 mins later. At least 60 pax alight at Flora Rd (First stop).
So slightly after off-peak hours, at least 100+ pax heading to that one stop alone. Within 10mins.

Ya got certain timings where residents of Flora condos board the bus at that bus stop.
Beside that, svc 4 got 1 SD to DD upgrade and ive seen DDs during off peak too

Might just be 1 off lah.
Last year I saw a bus 102 got >110 pax during off peak, even when previous bus was 12-14 minutes ahead.
