Anybody knows how many people board 150 at Eunos interchange? Last time I took at non-peak hours, it was 4. Cheers. Thanks.

Can tell you from Eunos its less than 7 pax.

LTA should built a depot around Lor Halus area for Punggol and Pasir Ris not Loyang.Loyang is super hot!
Spectulation that one of the future train depot for Cross Island Line will be at around Lor Halus, perhaps there will be a bus depot co-located there as well? Which will neatly explain why the Loyang contract covers Punggol and Pasir Ris bus services, since eventually the Loyang Depot will move there in 10+ years time?

Lor Halus can cover Punggol and Sengkang while Loyang cover Pasir Ris,Changi Village/Airport and Tampines North/Concourse..East Coast cover Tampines,Bedok,Upp East Coast and Changi Business Park

Around 5 - less than 10. People rather board at Eunos mrt.
Peak hours around 40 - 50 pax. Depends on 155 coming first or not. If not still peak hours can take pax fully seated.
Can actually extend sv155 to kembangan station then enter telok kurau road via changi road.
Sv 150 can add 1 more bus during peak hours. 150 has a good chance to be better received not just during peak hours.

That's coz nobody boards there...

All other services around the area is more like political things then proper planing. LTA should I say the MPs want people live around the area to take public transport than drive cars so all those bus service like 134 150 all rubbish planing. 76 also the same stupid planing. maybe as 76 or 135 combine with 853 to yishun better.
135/853 merger sounds great except that the combined route would be too long.
But I doubt 155 can merge with 134, because 155's route between Geylang East Ctrl and Siglap is unique and not covered by 134 at all.

For Eunos services (except 76 and 154), don't count loadings within the interchange... Most people board these services at Sims Ave outside MRT exit. Save a few minutes of travelling time, and some people may also have alternative services there like 21, 155 etc.
From my observation, the only service that gets long queues inside Eunos Int is 60, but that's because some people want to secure a seat before huge crowds board at MRT bus stop.

It's the same kind of discussion we have everytime.
If sv 143M comes before 143, it will definitely have few standees or be packed but the 143 DD behind will go empty. Likewise for 53M etc.
So it won't be surprising if 150 gets fully seated if it arrives before sv 15/155. But if you see it would be only few time slots, when 150 would get fully seated. Most trips during peak hours also <20 pax.

There is no such thing as merge now,Its either cut short,Withdrawn and introduce a new svc.135 is under Seletar Package and 853 under Sembawang-Yishun.

* I alighted at Paya Lebar.
* Bus in front 43 = 04 min, 134 = 06 min, 135 = 13 min
* Bus behind 43 = 08 min, 134 = 06 min, 135 = 11 min
* Overall loading pretty less on sv 135 contrary to my expectation in PM peak. Most pax came in at Paya Lebar MRT.
Loading on sv 134 @ 18.22 from Paya Lebar
* How I counted? I first let everyone board and then boarded
* Bus came after 06 min of previous 135.
Paya Lebar MRT -- 69 (63 pax boarded but i think there were at least 6 pax on bus from Geylang East)
* The next 43 DD was 02 mins away when I boarded, and next 134 was 04 mins away. Already pretty close.
* If LTA is considering cutting 135 short, it maybe because there is excess capacity right now in the Paya Lebar-Marine Parade stretch.
Today first bus of CT8 to Chinatown was full till entrance door when it enter CTE.
Last Friday. Observe from 6pm to 7pm at Changi airport T2. All the paxes are able to board all the buses that come. Only one trip of 858 have standees til entrance door. But the next few buses all have lot of standing spaces when leaving T2. Sv34 is having long frequency as compare to 24/27/53。

That's surprising... Usually 34 53 and 858 will be crammed to the door
Today got 1 newbie accidentally take SD and drive svc 2..I managed to overtake him at Joo Chiat complex when his bus is full...Only at Opp People's Park he overtook me back..On e way back his doing quite okay..Pm shift i see he drive DD.
Summary of loading of 700A at night - 11pm

Overall 15/18 pax from Aljunied Road alighted at Geylang East Central. Only 3 pax went forward to Paya Lebar. This shows there is an important connection between Macpherson Estate and Geylang East
Paya Lebar MRT -- 38 (-3/27)
Sims Ave -- 40 (-2/4), 36 (-8/4), 46 (-5/15) sv 150 would have cannibalized some loading at Eunos MRT stop.
Still Road -- 47 (-2/3)
Joo Chiat -- 43 (-7/3)
Telok Kurau -- 41 (-4/2), 38 (-4/1), 29 (-11/2) I alighted at stop before EC road.
* Average loading during PM peak bet. TPY and Paya Lebar is around 20 pax.
* Loading picks up b/w Paya Lebar, Eunos towards Telok Kurau and EC Road
* Given that both 135 and 155 have not-so-great loading between Upper Serangoon and Paya Lebar, could be another reason why LTA is trying to rationalize one of them.
* 155 route is more unique as it connects hawker center, polyclinic at Geylang central + Aljunied/Geylang industrial estate to Macpherson Estate. Keeping this connection is important, even if the route is looping twice on both ways.

Tampines Ave 9 -- 78 (-10/4), 77 (-4/3)
Tampines Ave 6 -- 81 (-4/8)
Tampines Ave 5 -- 69 (-14/2)
* Overall loading was excellent. Bus was 02 mins late to leave YCK but it maintained its speed over the time. Frequency of sv 72 is at 05 mins departing from YCK in PM
* Loading has increased on account of Logistics Park. Unfortuantely, didn't spot even one 127 bus
* Guess 127 will provide relief to sv 72 at tail end of stops along Tampines road who would walk from Siltronic to Tampines road to take 72 to interchange
* There were many people who took the bus from Hougang all the way to Tampines estate. Travel time is not too bad actually.
* Current fleet is doing okay. Def don't need any fleet add. I assume my bus had better loading due to 07 min headway, but the two buses behind with 04 and 03 min headway would have loading in range of 50-60 pax.
Same observation (almost) when I took 72 a few days ago, though for some reason there were barely any hamtaros
Loading on sv 64 @ 17.28 hours from Aljunied Road (DD)
Aljunied Road -- 06 (0/2), 13 (0/7), 19 (0/6), 22 (-1/4)
Macpherson Road -- 28 (0/6), 35 (-1/8), 58 (-2/25) at least another 50 people at the bus stop. I think majority for svc 8/90 to TPY.
Bendemeer road -- 58 (-4/4), 58 (-6/6), 58 (-4/4), 58 (-4/4), 58 (-4/4)
* Believe it or not # pax alighting = # pax boarding on all stops along Bendemeer
Jalan Besar -- 48 (-14/4), 47 (-5/4), 46 (-14/13), 47 (-2/3)
Bencoolen -- 46 (-8/7), 37 (-12/3)
YMCA Stamford -- 34 (-8/5) I alighted here.
* Bus in front: svc 64 (16 min), svc 65 (04 min), svc 66 (06 min)
* Bus behind: svc 64 (14 min), svc 65 (04 min), svc 66 (04 min)
Average frequency of buses running parallel (64, 65, 66) is a bus every 03-04 mins.
* Loading is mainly from Macpherson industrial estate but there are around 30 pax who take the bus from Bencoolen/Jalan Besar/Bendemeer towards Clemenceau/Havelock where svc 64 is the only option.
Loading on BPJ feeders has increased like anything! Will give details of 920, 922 and 972 today morning.
