Are you lunatic or something? Have I even mentioned anything about st 1 or 4 not able to take DDs. and sv 38 does not need, apparent from its loading when its peak loading is 34 pax.
Mental?

* bus in front = 08 mins, bus behind = 10 mins
* Overall loading quite poor, even though sv 38 was ahead of sv 12
* Loading in Bedok South - Bedok Interchange surprised me a lot. Maybe 229 called before but wasn't evidently seen so there must have been 3-4 mins gap
* Seems those going to MRT prefer to do Tanah Merah as expected with 12, 38 and 47.
* 38 can be re-routed to do Tampines-Changi Airport via Simei town, SUTD, Changi Court, PIE given current route between Simei and Bedok is duplicative to sv 12 and there is also sv 47 now. Since sv 229 is there, no people will get affected.

Unless there are new bus stops along Lydep...

Not sure that would be feasible as it will take away existing direct connection between Simei town and Tampines Ave 7 towards Tampines MRT. Though the number of people taking between the two towns is not huge, there are still some dedicated users.
My proposed suggestion does not provide inconvenience as it provides alternatives.

36B situation is more because of Rochor ramp.

they are also wary of the downward Rochor ramp... it is also steep with sharp bend.... not just the up ramp....

go down slope sure no issue, but whether the BC can handle the speed of DDs properly is another issue..... do u think the DDs can go down the steep slope at 60km/hr ?

It's Tg Katong Rd Sth that prevents sv 48 from using DDs.
Please don't provide any wrong info. There is no issue @ Tanjong Katong South. The issue always has been Rochor ramp till now.
They did DD testing for Rochor ramp 2 weeks back which I saw with my own eyes.
Rochor Ramp you need a damm skilful BCs to handle those downhill slope..Dangerous even for a double decker coaches..
Oh ya Mr BA, you said you want to send the photos?

i feedbacked to SBST some time back and has been advised the issue is with the high trees at TKS but that issue has now been solved. As such, what sbs6750e said is accurate unless SBST provide us wrong info. I copied and paste the feedback for sharing in this forum which u can take reference to previously :)

Yes it was the case but those trees have gone many months back. I drive regularly in that area. The trees are quite high and low hanging branches have been chopped off. A lot of chopping happened to accommodate new TEL MRT station along the road and Amber Skye condominium.
Anyway, 48 getting DDs is a good news as I have often seen many stranded passengers along the last 2 bus stops before ECP.

(17:56) Serangoon Ave 2 - [-11+14] 41 (Serangoon MRT)The 37 people onboard at Aljunied Rd will give a big thumbs down to LTA if 135 is cut to Sims Place.
Later at 7.11pm, a 135 towards MP also had no space for standing even before reaching Paya Lebar MRT (which means no Paya Lebar-MP pax on board). Wonder who's the crazy guy that decided to cut 135.
Hi mr array88, unlikely to cut to sims place. Because if cut there, 135 will be too much similar to 134. Cheers. Thanks.
