Loading on sv 85 @ 545pm from Yishun Interchange. Lush Green DD.
Yishun Interchange -- 22 (0/22)
Yishun Ave 2 -- 38 (0/16), 38 (0/0), 40 (-1/3), 56 (-2/18), 56 (0/0), 56 (0/0), 56 (0/0)
Jalan Kayu -- 57 (-1/2), 56 (-3/2), 57 (-2/3)
Sengkang West Way -- 49 (-12/4), 36 (-15/2), 34 (-2/0)
Sengkang East Way -- 30 (-6/2), 32 (-6/8), 28 (-4/0)
Sengkang East Rd -- 27 (-7/6)
Compassvale Dr -- 24 (-3/0), 23 (-3/2)
Rivervale Dr -- 25 (-5/7)

Punggol East -- 18 (-3/0)
Punggol Central -- 25 (-4/11), 34 (-8/17), 43 (-3/12), 39 (-4/0)
* Peak loading = 56 pax b/w Yishun & Sengkang
* All buses in opposite direction would have max 50 pax
* Loading drops significantly after Sengkang West Town and hovers around 20-35 pax throughout.
* Loading picks up a bit as expected along Punggol Central to Punggol MRT.
* Really need full fleet DD for 85 ??
* Feel 117 and TPE Punggol stop have chipped into 85's loading between Punggol and Yishun. Most pax are travelers within Sengkang and Punggol. 85 does serve an important intra-town need in Sengkang, but manageable with SDs.
* sv 50 should be the one to be full fleet DD but still has 2-3 SDs.
43M is totally useless.
(Full) 24 DDs on 43, and 43M withdrawn will be good.

Is 43 full DD? If it isnt its time to consider...

Yes it is,Even 43M is full DDs which i find it quite useless..I was early for 7 mins at Punggol using SDs and late for 4 mins using DDs for 43M.

how come so big diff? pax load still aboit the same?
Originally posted by A Bus Observer:how come so big diff? pax load still aboit the same?
With 43 and 43M running alongside each other, they cannibalise each other's loadings.
43M should reduce DDs. And please don't deploy those crappy SBS33xx DDs on any bus service.
if don't deploy, then where do you put these resources? sleep in the depot till end of lifespan? as much as you may not like it, please think it logically.

Before GA take over , you were complaining Abt the SD on 43/43M. Now deploy full fleet DDs on 43/43M , you also not happy. Then what do you wan actually?
Sv972 and Sv190 crowds back due to DTL down this morning 10/4

43 now running with 21 DDs and 43M with 5 DDs and occasionally get 1 SD..
I do agree 43M doesn't need full DDs as the timings is in between S43..Can exchange with two S3 SDs though.
Originally posted by A Bus Observer:how come so big diff? pax load still aboit the same?
Usually when there is 43M SD,At most its only 10 standees and most would alight for 3-4 stops unlike S43.
Originally posted by A Bus Observer:how come so big diff? pax load still aboit the same?
Usually,Pax will wait for S43 if 43M using SD and S43 would directly bring you to Sgoon MRT faster from YCK Rd/Buangkok Green. Now S43 and S43M got seperated timecard unlike previously where you either do 43/43M or 43M/43 first.
Now its like S43,S43,S43M,S43,S43,S43M

Agree 43 needs to be full fleet DD, 43M should be full fleet SD as it is just a supplementing service in case 43 gets delayed along its route.
I think GA has a lot of DDs so don't know where to deploy. On contrary, TT didn't get so many because they didnt really change the ratio of DDs on previous SBS services - kept almost same.

Yea,Even 106 which is supposed a full DD fleets still have 4-5 SDs everyday. In the end just deploy those E500s on J East svc.43M can do well with 4 SDs and 2 DDs considered it already separated from S43 roster.

No bunching between 43 and 43M

You think so easy? The purpose of deploy 43M 3 mins after 43 departure is to support the loads from Sengkang-Buangkok/YCK/Sgoon MRT.
