True.. I think we are getting more and more lazy.
but to SBS3004X point, the distance between bus stops along 43/M route is quite a bit especially the one in Kopitiam to Sengkang Central to Buangkok MRT to Buangkok Dr. After that the interval along Buangkok Green onwards is normal.
I feel 43/M can insert one bus stop between Kopitiam and Sengkang Central for the new BTO flats there.
Loading on sv 117 DD @ 5.38pm from Sembawang MRT
Sembawang MRT -- 14 (0/11)... only 3 pax boarded at interchange
Canberra Link -- 16 (0/2)
Yishun Ave 2 -- 22 (-2/8), 25 (-2/5), 28 (-1/4)
Yishun MRT -- 23 (-13/8)
Yishun Ave 2 -- 21 (-4/2), 24 (0/3)
Khatib MRT -- 49 (0/25) interesting to see a good number of pax boarding at Khatib MRT stop
Yishun Ave 2 -- 50 (0/1)
Yishun Ave 1 -- 45 (-5/0), 40 (-5/0), 40 (0/0), 40 (0/0), 37 (-3/0), 26 (-12/1) all along Yishun ave 1 only 1 pax boarded, 25 paz alighted.

Seletar Aerospace -- 28 (0/2), 28 (0/0), 28 (0/0), 28 (0/0), 28 (0/0), 29 (0/1), 34 (0/5) absolutely surprising that 6+ pm SAP was empty. Each bus stop had 3-4 pax waiting for 103, but throughout SAP had only 6 pax boarding. No wonder 103 also hasn't gotten any more DDs apart from the one.
Picadilly -- 35 (0/1)
Seletar Circus -- 29 (-13/7)
Punggol Way -- 31 (0/2), 24 (-7/0)
Punggol Central -- 24 (0/0)
Punggol Interchange.
Summary
Peak loading of 50 pax at Khatib. Overall loading continues to be SD loading. Even opposite direction all 117 buses had purely SD loading. Average frequency is 12-15 mins per bus.
I told you that many people take 117 to get to Yishun...not necessary that there are other services going there
I suppose its alright to let 117 enter Canberra...but again its purpose would be revoked
Loading on sv 83 @ 6.54pm DD
Punggol Interchange -- 46 (0/46)

Sengkang East Rd -- 31 (0/6), 26 (-5/2)
Compassvale St -- 24 (-2/0), 23 (-3/2)

Punggol Field -- 26 (-7/4), 22 (-7/3), 26 (-3/7)
Punggol East -- 25 (-1/0)
Punggol Central -- 20 (-12/8), 19 (-8/7), 22 (-2/4), 18 (-4/0)
Summary
Peak loading in direction of Sengkang = 49 pax, direction of Punggol = 31 pax.
What is GA thinking with giving DDs to sv 83???? Any other service would be better qualified to get DDs.
Bus in front = 12 mins, bus at back = 08 mins.
Driver drove very slow to pick up more pax. He waited for more pax to come and board, yet loading unsatisfactory. In turn at Sengkang bus late by 02 mins.
Surprisingly loading along Punggol Central is not as great even though there is no LRT and many services.
By the way sv 85 also seems to have become full fleet DD. What the hell??
Then why single out sv 3???

Looking at the loading definitely sv 117 should enter Canberra. This loading is at PM prime peak yet the loading is not great. Only noticeable loading is between Khatib MRT and Yishun Ave 1.

Is the current fleet enough for both groups of (future) residents at Yishun Ave 1 and Canberra?

Khatib MRT has a good number of pax maybe because of one or two factors that I can think of:
1) Alternative for Svc 811 for residents living around Blk 871 bus stop and St 81 (near the stadium)
2) The sole service along Ave 1 which connects the resident to the nearest MRT station.
I guess slowly, the ridership will increase. Not rapidly but at a steady pace.

119 also,2 DDs can be used for S82 during peak hours.
U r right. 117 was introduced too early but still the loading ok
I believe so, since the DDs are barely utilized well

117 for now can use 8 SDs and 5 DDs,Full day just deployed 3 DDs is more than enough.
Today S82 for my 0620-0731,Quite packed leh with 7-8 standees,2nd trip at 0741-0900 about 15-20 standees,3rd trip 0910-1023 average with full seatings and last trip at 1036-1145 got 1 occassion a few standees,After NEX clear again.I think 82 deserved 2 split DDs that can kope from S83.

the 103 DD also wrong timing, if it could be 20 min later than the current schedule would be much better (8680K slot) or 30 min earlier (6098E slot) so that it can fetch the load from both west Camp to Sgoon/Yishun and also the load from NEX to YCK Rd

Current fleet is enough for now... or rather over-pampered.. can do with full fleet SD.. Once Canberra/ Yishun Ave 1/ Punggol Matilda / SAP develop further can convert SD->DD.

It will be one year in Dec. It should have been launched as full fleet SD and then upgraded to DD as required.

For now.. just seems like SAP has lot of development/buildings, but still many of them are vacant or few employees. I was surprised to see very few people that too during PM peak.
To be honest,103 need 3 split DDs...Off peak no need at all,Everytime goyang here and there...Peak hours loadings is quite good,Off peak only can see Ghosts..
I don't really know what's LTA thinking of deploy DDs on S83 and S119..What a bloody joke.S2,S12,S43,S62 & S118 full fleet DDs I totally agreed..S3 also no need too many DDs,Just deploy 7 including peak hours is adequate given the frequencies..

Even sv 85 operating with almost full fleet DDs.
83 and 119 both have trouble finding more than 50 pax along its route.
Instead should give DDs to 386 as each bus gets around 60-70 pax during AM/PM peak and those going to Waterway HDBs will go up.

386 just need to add 2 buses,1 fullday and 1 split. No jump buses please.
Most 382G/W buses still leaving interchange with <10 pax during peak hours also. Guess loading on 382G/W will spike only next year.
371 is having packed buses on every bus with the Rivervale Delta HDB opening. We may soon see a 5th bus added as I doubt they will give it a DD.

382G/W now is frequent.386 need to improve more.Still depend on the crossovers from S82 & S119.
284 may be a freaking short svc but it has quite a bit of demand for sd
Originally posted by A Bus Observer:284 may be a freaking short svc but it has quite a bit of demand for sd
Yes because a new HDB opened there end of last year. One stop on 284 can have 50 pax boarding.
My group proposed for GA svc will be like these below..And hopefully the rumours of 15 A22s and 20 A95s transfered over to GA next year will be true.
S2,S12,S43,S62 & S118 full DD fleet.
S6,S17,E518 majority DD fleet.
S43M & S85 partial DD fleet.
S3,S82,S83 & S136 minority DD fleet.
S119 full SD fleet.
