(This is for weekday schedule.)
I don't know. What I observed is what I have reported. I have used the IRIS app to check bus in front and bus behind. I was surprised to see quite low loading all the way until the bus hit lower end of Paya Lebar road.
1st day loading on 308... with the exception of one trip for SMB3159S which was packed due to the presence of CCK MP and grassroot leaders, the rest of the trips and buses were spotted with less than 10 pax on board... most still choose to take 172 over 308 as many are unfamiliar with the route...
#veryinteresting observation
Loading on sv 102 @605pm from Hougang Interchange DD
Hougang Interchange -- 30 (0/30)
Upper Serangoon Road -- 38 (0/8), 44 (-1/7), 38 (-10/4), 26 (-19/7)
Buangkok Dr -- 25 (-4/3), 24 (-3/2), 24 (-3/3)
Buangkok MRT -- 38 (-8/22)
Sengkang Central -- 28 (-15/5)
Compassalve Dr -- 20 (-13/5)
Compassalve Rd -- 22 (-2/4), 22 (-3/3)
Sengkang MRT -- 66 (-4/48) please note: there are 18 pax who took bus beyond Sengkang MRT. There were 3 who boarded at Upp. Serangoon Road, who were still on board the upper deck with me.
Sengkang East Way -- 58 (-12/4), 50 (-9/1), 49 (-3/2)
Sengkang West Way -- 36 (-13/3), 26 (-13/3), 16 (-12/2) consistent alighting along stops at Sengkang East Way. Flat occupancy still seems v low.
Jalan Kayu -- 9 (-9/2), 9 (0/0)
Seletar Circus -- 18 (-9/18)
Jalan Kayu -- 20 (0/2), 24 (0/4), 29 (0/5) Seems that 102 is providing good connection b/w Seletar/Jalan Kayu to Sengkang-Hougang town.
Sengkang West Way -- 34 (-5/10), 33 (-7/6), 41 (-1/8) Around 24 pax boarded along Sengkang West Way even though there was a sv 85 right in front. Interestingly, when I took sv 85 last week, sv 102 was right behind and people waited to take sv 102.
Sengkang East Way -- 45 (-2/6), 52 (-2/9), 54 (-3/5) Didn't really expect 54 pax to be on board towards Sengkang MRT as it is direction opposite to peak.
Sengkang MRT -- 27 (-28/1) Just 1 person boarded at Sengkang MRT
Compassalve Road -- 31 (-1/5), 30 (-4/3)
Compassalve Dr -- 30 (-6/6)
Sengkang Central -- 33 (-3/6)
Buangkok MRT -- 57 (-9/33) Another surprising loading. Around 33 pax boarded at BGK MRT. Also note that 24 pax were still onboard, showing that 102 is really working well as an intra-town connector in HG/SGK. Bus stop was packed - had around 50-60 pax waiting for 27/43.
Buangkok Dr -- 50 (-9/2), 40 (-12/2), 31 (-13/4) Around 34 pax alighted along BGK DR. Seems that people prefer to take 102 from BGK MRT rather than HG MRT for BGK Dr. But wouldn't have been better had they taken from HG MRT as the arrival time is more certain since 1st stop rather than BGK MRT, where they are certain to delays.
Upper Serangoon Road -- 30 (-7/6), 28 (-6/4), 24 (-4/0), 17 (-7/0)
Hougang Interchange -- 00 (-17/0)
* 102 has a lot of people taking it as an intra-town between Hougang/Sengkang
* DD potential for 102 seems high with flats along Sengkang West still having low occupancy (of course this will also depend on whether other services are launched along Sengkang West Way, but given that Sengkang West Ave has only 50/163/163M, maybe Sengkang West Way will max get 1 service more)
* Overall really good bi-directional loading, much higher than I expected.
* Frequency is okay, not great. Buses arrive at interval of 10-14 mins.

Saw one A22 with fully seated upon reaching Keat Hong.
Loading on sv 168 from Bedok Interchange to Woodlands Interchange @ 16.45
Time check @ Tampines Ave 10 (bef TPE)
Bus in front: 00 mins (bunched). While departing, interval = 04 mins.
Bus behind: 02 mins, 13 mins.
Bedok Interchange -- 10 (0/10)
Bedok North St 1 -- 14 (0/4)
Bedok North Ave 3 -- 18 (0/4), 22 (-1/5), 21 (-1/0)
Bedok Reservoir Road -- 19 (-4/2), 19 (0/0)
SAFRA -- 29 (-2/12)
Tampines Ave 5 -- 32 (-1/4)
Tampines Ave 4 -- 39 (-3/10), 54 (-4/19)
Tampines Ave 7 -- 56 (-9/11)
Tampines Ave 9 -- 54 (-2/0), 44 (-11/1), 44 (-2/2) Bunched with 168 in front at last stop on Ave 9 with a sv 72 in between.
Tampines Ave 10 -- 44 (0/0), 42 (-2/0), 45 (0/3), 57 (-1/13) 168 in front took most pax. Time check: 525pm
TPE Stop -- 54 (-9/6) Though my DD was right behind, most people still tried to cram into the DD in front, even though I assume there wont be many seats. A VO3x was right behind. So at this stop 3 168 DDs bunched.
My 168 DD overtook the DD in front. As expected, it had lot of standees.
Seletar Circus -- 58 (-9/13) 168 VO3x at the back maybe having only 15-20 pax.
Woodlands Ave 2 -- 60 (-3/5), 56 (-8/4), 57 (-1/3), 54 (-3/0)
* Peak loading = 60 pax.
* Spacing of buses needs to be better. 3 DDs bunching when there was no traffic enroute is NOT acceptable.

For RWS8... all you need to do is wait at the HF stop in AM and notice the loading. It is quite good for every bus, with every bus going quite packed.

No wonder SMRT love this service,Short route yet so profits.
Loading of sv 161 & sv 168 at Woodlands Interchange between 18.11 and 19.19 hours
Sv 161
6.11 - 52p - 3718P
6.19 - 69p - 3666K
6.22 - 16p - 3717Y
6.28 - 66p - 3720L

6.57 - 59p - 3927H
7.08 - 79p - 3012Y
7.19 - 61p - 3705G
* Almost every bus gets +50pax loading, except 1 bus that left 02-03 mins after previous one. Sure goes empty all the way back to Hougang.
* Frequency seems to be around 05-06 mins before 630pm, dropping to around 10 mins after 630pm
* Can cut 1-2 DDs IMO.
sv 168

7.04 - 96p - 3818P
7.11 - 60p - 3509G
7.17 - 42p - 7443K
* The VO3x slot from both Bedok/Woodlands runs at short interval after DD in front. This slot can be eliminated. 1-2 DDs can be cut. Seems too excess.
* Overall frequency seems within 06-10 mins during the entire PM peak. Could be even better before 6pm as RP students leave around 5pm.
* In red, is the DD worthy loading departures from WRI. I assume there won't be much loading along WDL Ave 2 during this time to Tampines/Bedok. Correct me if I am wrong.

There is no VO3X. SBS9836Y is a B10TL. The rest are B9TLs.
I have seen 3 back to back (not bunched) full KUBs on 116 in AM peak on weekdays. I sometimes see this in the afternoon on weekdays as well.
Packed buses on 116 is common on weekends.
I understand that 116 do get heavy loadings on certain timings but that doesnt warrant any DDs yet..Added fleet during those timings would be sufficient

This would be a more evenly spaced out frequency at about 8 mins. No need to cut DDs.

Don't forget the jam at the SLE/TPE portion. That is why Tampines avenue 10 being a loneself only one bus service with DD and one bus service with SD. No inconvenience due to the height restriction at Changi Airport. The other portion is covered by service 67 too. Another portion is covered by a free shuttle bus for IKEA.
In addition, I noted the loading for Service 242 while waiting for 193
SBS3642D on 242 arrived around 6:44pm with about 50-60 pax on board, it is notable that even though 242 arrived first, the people queueing for 193 did not move to take 242, a possible reason is that 242 takes a slightly longer route towards Blk 673C and serves Street 72 before heading towards Pioneer Mall, which residents would prefer taking 193 that takes a shorter route.
New schedule for both 43 and 43M, but no sign of upgrade.
SBS6498J on 43M packed to the door at 12:55 pm at Buangkok Green, about to turn into Buangkok Drive (towards Punggol). SBS6473E on 43 still had available seats but just skipped the bus stop.
Loading on sv 333 @ 17.40
Jurong East Interchange -- 12 (0/12)
Jurong Gateway Road -- 17 (0/5)
Jurong East Central -- 21 (0/4)
Jurong Townhall Road -- 24 (0/3)
IMM -- 29 (-5/10)
Toh Guan Road -- 34 (-1/6), 36 (-4/6)
Jurong East Ave 1 -- 24 (-12/0), 17 (-8/1), 8 (-9/0) I alighted here.
* Bus in front = 06 mins
* Next bus = 06 mins
* Frequency is too good, but loading is okay.
* It acts more as a connector between IMM - Toh Guan to Jurong East Ave 1.

That's why I suggested to make 333 take a more direct route from Jurong East to Jurong East Ave 1 and beyond, while introducing a new service from Jurong West/East Ave 1 to Toh Guan, IMM, Boon Lay Way etc.

But that will take away the missing link between Jurong Townhall Road & Jurong East Central, where there are people boarding.
My suggestion is to make 52/105 more usable at Toh Guan.
Currently there is 41/52/105/183/333/990 all catering Toh Guan-Jurong East. Overkill.
52 can be extended to Boon Lay via Jurong East Ave 1, Townhall road, Chinese Garden MRT, Lakeside MRT, Boon Lay Place.
105 can be extended to Bukit Batok Interchange via Bukit Batok Ave 1 & BBT Central (as 990 does a long loop before heading to BBT MRT).
41/183/333/990 continue to serve Toh Guan to Jurong East with better loading.
Loading on sv 180 E500 @ 6.02pm
Boon Lay Interchange -- 39 (0/39)
JW St 64 -- 42 (0/3)
Boon Lay Way -- 45 (0/3), 49 (-1/5), 72 (-3/26) Lakeside MRT - seems like these are transfer pax from 49, 98, 240 rather than coming from MRT , 73 (0/1), 72 (-2/1), 75 (0/3), 78 (0/3) Chinese Garden MRT not much high loading at this stop contrary to what expected as it is nearest MRT on green line.
Jurong Townhall Road -- 82 (-2/6), 99 (-4/21) quite high loading at this stop (didn't expect)
Bukit Batok Road -- 100 (-1/2), 99 (-1/0), 99 (0/0), 102 (-1/4), 99 (-4/1), 98 (-1/0), 99 (0/1), 99 (-2/2)
CCK Road -- 84 (-15/0), 56 (-28/0)
Bukit Panjang MRT -- 27 (-32/3) - I alighted here.
** Upper deck 100% full from Lakeside MRT till CCK Road
** Very little alighting. Most pax alight at CCK Road/Phoenix/BPJ
** Huge construction coming up along Bukit Batok road, and could see lot of construction workers waiting on bus stops in opp. direction
** Bus in front = 09 mins (DD E500), bus behind = 10 mins (DD E500)
** Amazing loading in both directions
979M has decent loading. It came right after 979 MANA22 that took 46 pax, and 979M took 21 pax at 640pm when I alighted from 180. So there seem a dedicated patronage for 979M as well.
983 MANA22 took 34 pax only. 920 and 922 that arrived back to back took 43 pax and 39 pax respectively.
I took DTL2 back and the train was almost empty throughout with enough seats (but yes it's the opposite direction).

Surprised to see 979M took 21 pax, maybe more people are knowing about 979M
many people complain that 979M should stop at north 6

I'm not sure why people are not willing to walk the extra distance to take 979. After all, once 979 is amended, its not going to serve north 6 anyways. Then complain again lor
