Thanks. Would be good to know if it is a DD or SD. I assume since 77 pax boarded bus, it is a DD. Should it not be 9A at that time?
I realize a lot of people actually take 9 from Simei MRT to Tampines East CC / Tampines JC. If you wait at opposite TPJC bus stop for a while, 4/19/37/81 never show up, and the next bus that comes is 9... You will see huge crowds boarding. Same for Ave 2 bus stop.
Makes sense because technically Simei is the nearest MRT for them, but I always thought people there would prefer Tampines MRT...

Punggol Interchange -- 14 (0/14)
Punggol Central -- 14 (0/0)
Punggol Way -- 12 (-6/4) even though there is LRT, some people prefer taking bus instead. 06 (-6/2) all pax who boarded at Punggol Interchange already alighted within Punggol town
Sengkang East Rd -- 10 (0/4), 12 (-4/6)
Sengkang Central -- 15 (-1/4), 35 (-4/24) Buangkok MRT
Buangkok Dr -- 25 (-12/2) many people take just for one stop
Buangkok Green -- 20 (-8/3), 25 (-2/7), 28 (0/3), 37 (-6/15)
YCK Road -- 47 (-4/14), 55 (-5/15), 60 (-1/6), 57 (-6/3), 59 (-1/3), 60 (0/1), 60 (0/0)
YCK Link -- 61 (-3/4)
Serangoon Central -- 56 (-8/3), 50 (-34/28) NEX. 43M DD inopp direction behind 43 SD.
Upp Serangoon Rd -- 52 (0/2)
Upper Paya Lebar Rd -- 44 (-13/5), 40 (-4/0), 40 (-2/2), 39 (-1/0), 42 (-2/5)
Paya Lebar Rd -- 41 (-3/2), 47 (0/6), 50 (0/3), 49 (-6/5), 55 (-2/8), 58 (-1/4), 56 (-2/0)
Paya Lebar MRT -- 86 (-29/59) huge number of pax boarding at one stop. This itself would justify 134 having all DDs. Headway of 43 (11 min), 76 (08 min), 135 (07 min). Next bus 76 (03 min), 135 (11 min), 43 (17 min).
Tanjong Katong Rd -- 79 (-11/4), 74 (-10/5), 67 (-10/3), 65 (-5/3), 63 (-4/2)
Amber Rd -- 50 (-17/4)
Parkway Parade -- 47 (-18/15) I alighted here.
* 3 major loading patterns (YCK Road -> NEX | Paya Lebar -> Paya Lebar MRT | Paya Lebar MRT -> Tanjong Katong)
* Highest DD worthy loading is at Paya Lebar -> Tanjong Katong
* Consistent loading of 50+ pax from YCK road to Parkway Parade. Not bad considering it is opposite direction of peak
* Many people take 43 for just 1-2stops. BGK -> Buangkok Dr, NEX -> Upp Paya Lebar Rd (first stop), Paya Lebar MRT -> Tanjong Katong Rd
Now, if you remove 76's link between YCK road and Marine Parade, there will be another 30-50 pax added to 43....
By the way your timing for Buangkok Dr is not really the peak. At times there can be an awesome 60 pax boarding at Buangkok MRT... And 30 of them alight at Buangkok Dr. But not really DDS worthy as few of them move upstairs.

I hope 43 gets more DDs when this change happens. Agree that 43 loading from Paya Lebar / Upper Paya Lebar to Tanjong Katong / Marine Parade will increase and SDs may not be able to tank the load.
(Last Saturday, 12 March)
Saturday evening loading on 961 from Woodlands Temp Int
118 getting more loadings during peak hours,Am peak saw a fully seated DD with at least 20 standees while PM saw a DD with fully seated and a few standees while the rear Citaro is fully packed to the brim.
171 loadings is mainly from Yishun to Bt Panjang.Bt Panjang to Bt Timah Rd also got healthy loadings but towards Orchard loading has dripped significantly.
Originally posted by array88:Correct me if I'm wrong, but seems that sometimes there are more NTU suptudents boarding 179 at Boon Lay instead of Pioneer... Today at around 1.10pm, I took 179 from Boon Lay Int and the DD was already 60% full when it departed. Then at Pioneer MRT only 10-20 pax boarded...On the other hand, 192 has very limited boarding/alighting activities at Pioneer MRT (as compared to the total no. of pax onboard). Not sure if the situation is better during peak hours.
I guess NTU students board at boon lay due to buying stuff at JP, option of 199 and also the chances of catching 179A as well. Technically 179 and 199 from Boon Lay takes around the same time to reach the "North Spine" bus stop at Ntu :)
Loading on sv 120 @ 545pm from Kampong Bahru Road
Kampong Bahru Road -- 04 (0/3)... only 1 person on board when bus arrived
Jalan Bukit Merah -- 08 (0/4), 10 (-1/3), 12 (-3/5)
Lower Delta Road -- 15 (0/3)
Tiong Bahru Road -- 17 (0/2), 18 (-2/3), 20 (-1/3), 20 (0/0), 29 (-7/16)
Alexandra Road -- 28 (-3/2), 26 (-5/3), 27 (-2/3), 27 (-3/3), 20 (-13/6), 22 (0/2), 25 (0/3), 26 (-1/3)
Tehlok Blangah Road -- 26 (-2/2), 24 (-2/0), 28 (-2/6) Tehlok Blangah MRT. I alighted here.
* Peak loading = 29 pax (even though it is PM peak)
* Surprisingly very few people boarded contrary to my expectation that Tehlok Blangah MRT would fetch good 15-20 pax towards Tehlok Blangah Heights. Seems like people use sv 124 from Harbourfront
* Frequency of 120 is not that good. Bus in front was 16 mins, bus behind was 14 mins. So average frequency seems at 15 mins.
* 120 seems to provide direct connection to Alexandra road for people living at Tehlok Blangah since around 15-20 pax from Alexandra went beyond Tehlok Blangah MRT. Route is unique in Tehlok Blangah - Alexandra sector. The Redhill - NBR sector seems total waste.
* Comments on sv 120 loading welcome!

05:45 | 05:56 WAB | 06:08 WAB | 06:19 WAB | 06:31 WAB | 06:42 | 06:48 WAB |
06:54 WAB | 07:02 WAB | 07:11 WAB | 07:19 WAB | 07:28 WAB | 07:36 WAB | 07:45 |
This is a schedule of 43 departure on Weekdays from Punggol.
This is what is so annoying about 43. It doesn't meet the 10 min LTA standards.
The buses from 06:31 to 06:54 are all DDs though, but they are not evenly spaced out (which often causes bunching between 06:42 and 06:48 buses).
This schedule is 2 mins ahead of actual departure.

Hi mr sbs3004X, don't make a big fuss out of nothing. 6.30am -8.30am frequency is 6-12 min on average. It meets the LTA standards. Cheers. Thanks.

The problem is with the bunching.
Also, the 6:31 bus is often full when it reaches YCK Road even though it is DD.

43M is really creating a lot of trouble. The SDs on 43M just come right before the DDs on 43. It also causes a lot of bunching. Even withdrawing 43M is better than this.
The 23 min frequency of service 43 on Sundays cannot continue with service 76 route cut.

Hi mr sbs3004X, it is not as if it is the end of the world with sbs 76 amended to eunos. There is still sbs 134 and 135. Cheers. Thanks.
2 76 past at Paya Lebar and no 134 has come!
I went to Brunos Pizza place at Tehlok Karau road around 6.45pm. Took an outdoor seating specially to spot 150. Spotted 2 sv 150 in direction of Marine Terrace with 02-03 pax and spotted 3 sv 150 towards Eunos, each with <5 pax.
Spotted also 2 sv 155 towards Siglap with maybe 20-30 pax on board and 2 sv 155 towards TPY with again 20-30 pax range.
Spotted 4 sv 15 in direction of Marine Parade, 1 of them had many standees (around 50-55 pax) and other 3 had seated loading (25-30 pax). In direction of Pasir Ris, in my duration spotted 4 buses also and came at frequency of 08-12 mins with around 30-40 pax on board.

Hi mr busanalyser, I was inside sbs 150 around that time. Did you see me? Cheers. Thanks.
A few Ah Peks lim kopi at Eunos utilise the last bus for 150 to Marine Terrace..Now they no need to board svc 13 from outside..
