But then the DDU seem to have different formats... i know at top right corner of DDU where it will show the colour that will show if BC is late/early/on time, many of the SMRT buses have the timing bar that is horizontal (left is late right is early), but SMB56A one is a vertical one, where top is early bottom is late.. (like TT one)

Thats a Sv 5 perm bus
All the perm buses for 5, 7, 51, 105, 154 were done by last week, with 5 being the first one to be completed some 3 weeks ago. This week seems to be 157 followed by 23 and possibly 117.
Can expect to observe many KJDEP buses missing from service as KJDEP is currently installing DDU...
GA also start to install DDUs on their buses too..About 40% of the fleets now with DDUs
bus 23 is the most crowded durin peak hour

Agree. Bus 23 seems to be one of the most neglected service by SBS and LTA. Morning peak around 7:30 am to 8:00 am, bus is always very packed after Tampines Ave 1 and leave passengers at Bedok North Road stranded. Evening between 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm also very packed, and passenger along Jalan Kolam Ayer to Tampines cannot board.
Off-peak night even worse, can wait for 20 minutes for 1 severely overcrowded one, and if you cannot board, will have to wait another 15 minutes, and cannot guarantee you can board, if you are at Jalan Kolam Ayer, Infineon.
Seems that the overcrowding has persisted for more than one year, and no one seems to take action.
Wonder why PTC's QoS nor LTA's regulatory regime has strangely been silent on this particular bus service, despite it being worse than overcrowded trains in India for years.

Maybe you can try SBST feedback. When I saw on Sgwiki today that service 23 fleet had only 16 buses, I also got a shock!
I have feedbacked about back to back full SDs on 43 during peak.

16 buses for sv23 but it is departing at 5-6 mins frequency from 3.25 pm to 6pm n during am peak. Frankly speaking, it is very good.

The journey may look far but again 23 ply expressway.
Mind to then explain why 168 has 31 buses?
And even for the shorter 161, 24 buses, which is 3/2 of 23's fleet?
No of pax even during off peak..23 i think only peak hours while off leak moderate..Weekends i think more than 16 buses.
Not many bus services to the North mah... in Tampines & Pasir Ris only 4 are available with 168 being the most direct bus back to Woodlands where there is a high concentration of residents
At least 117 is at Punggol to help me...but talk about more buses if it goes to PSR instead
