Now that you mentioned, realised that it shows the block no.
Saw from this picture, it doesnt show the block number.. means only for SMRT will show?

The run/block number shown is 285-sw-XXX on the top right hand corner of the screen.

How does SBST block number work? cant tell anything about the timeslot from that 3 digit number. Couldn't find any article to explain that also
Seriously beside preparing for possible losing of Yishun,Whats SMRTB agenda on taking service 981 full Amdep?Might as well make every SBW service full Amdep.I got a feeling that svc 171 will be shortened to BPJ and might be control by Wldep instead.Probably Amdep will take a few svc 858 & 969 cause they will do ONP at Loyang anytime since they have prepared the necessary stuffs at Lydep starter office.Maybe Lor 1 dont do ONP anymore and svc like 985,61 & part of 854 will ONP at Lydep instead.

On the timesheets, the duty code is stated as either se-xxx or sw-xxx. se is for East district and sw is for west district. Previously, they used depot codes, like jr-xxx for Jurong Depot duties.
The first digit represents the type of bus used. It is explained here by Oceane (it is a bit outdated): http://sgforums.com/forums/1279/topics/319708?page=42#post_8351716
Second and third digits is the run number, up till the late 1990s, the run number was displayed on the front of the buses which were running on clowbus (jumpbus) services.
For example se-801 is run number 1 for the particular service and is run by a single deck aircon bus.
The reason why you couldn't find it is because it has been a very long time since anyone has asked about it (the post was in 2008), and also because sbs calls it run number and so did bus fans back then.

I see, thanks for the info and research..
So is it possible say, for example a DD runs on sw-801? or will it be called sw-301 instead?

If its just a cameo, then it will remain as 801. Only changes when there is a permanent change in type of bus.
SMB99B, SMB124L and SMB3117M all with DDU installed

I think all 307 buses subsequently will get...but as of now im unable to confirm if SMB98D, SMB125J, SMB198Z and SMB3131X has the DDU installed... while SMB126G - SMB128B are still missing in action. SMB3118K as of today still not installed while SMB3117M actually got the DDU instead... prolly a hint that SMB3117M is coming back to 307 and SMB3118K going back to 302?
Anyway heard that they actually wanted to change fleet of 307 to the MANs with DDUs (313x series) but not sure what happened and they ended up installing the DDUs on the OCs...

I think the trial with the DDU in 307 worked, so probably they permanently installed on 307 perms while 3132T - 3142P replace them temorarily.. Someone updated in sgwiki 128B adless, he must have seen in somewhere on service recently
Heard that 307 getting fleet change also, must be false rumour since 307 not even a BSEP service -.-
TIB969M (KJ TRG) spotted parking in Yishun int showing Training Bus on 7 Dec 2015

hahah! but that 2 days with full fleet MAN PM peak was a havoc! huh? fleet change to? unlikely already since they installed the DDUs even on the OCs! Look so weird as in the layout when installed on the OCs... now the buses seen on 975 for the past few days...

I think the 313x's role since they were fitted with the new DDU was to enable perm buses of services getting the new system to go for their installation of new DDUs. They probably did the same when Bukit Batok services were getting the new DDU as these buses were largely stuck there during that time. Similar to the batch of buses in SBS in the 658x-9x, 346x to 347x and 517x-518x series.

I don't think its purely a trial, more like one of the first steps (outside of Bulim package) in the transition to the new technologies used in the GCM model, I think eventually all public buses in Singapore will receive the new DDU.

Now you know why your svc 307 perm OCs missing for a few days right?

SMB98D & SMB127D have, suspecting 128B have also

It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
Same goes with the lush green livery.
The transition from the old IDFC to new NOBE is a useful timeline.
SBS3334T, SBS3343S, SBS3345L, SBS3357C, SBS3360S, SBS3400K, SBS3412B, SBS3414X, SBS3416R, SBS3427J, SBS6316B, SBS6360Y, and SBS6443S have SBS Transit removed.
+ SBS6330J
6065A Now having funny engine sound like those DT dd engine sound lol....

They should have deployed the MANs to replace OCs on other services, these OCs replace the OCs on 307.

Huh? OCs replace OCs that already have DDUs installed? ...
