From int:S3 now off peak between 9-13 mins while 7-9 mins during peak,Crazy la.
They were shocked when i told them SBST deploy a few SDs for S43.You can deploy 2-3 SDs for block that have 43/43M.
Currently 969 weekday off-peak frequency is at 5 minutes..
Usually DD > DD > DD > SD > DD > SD > DD

Then what is the peak frequency, if off-peak already at 05 minutes??

Hi mr carbikebus, the peak and non-peak timing are not crazy. Don't forget that service 3 is the only service that passes by pasir ris st 71 and st 21. For pasir ris st 71, the waiting time at that section could be quite long especially when there is some built up traffic along TPE. Cheers. Thanks.

That's why i feedback for S3M..

Hi mr carbikebus, if still need to cross TPE, 3M may also not be the best answers. No hard feelings. Cheers. Thanks.

Thanks in advance.
Roughly around 1hr 12-18 mins
sv 961 has a total runtime in one direction with layover of 2.5 hours.
There is a DD that leaves Lor 1 Geylang (used to be 5081) at 3pm. By the time it reaches Woodlands Interchange it would be around 5.10-5.15pm. This means it has lost the peak timing of Mandai industrial estate around 5.15-6pm.
On return journey, it will leave Woodlands at 5.35pm, meaning it would come to Mandai estate around 5.55-6.00pm. Not sure if the return leg would command DD worthy loading either.
It missed peak timing of Chinatown, Bukit Merah, Woodlands road in both directions.
I am sure there must be a reason for this. Is anyone able to explain the horribly misplaced timing of 961 DD?

What timing?
Around 6.36pm at Chinatown
IMHO,Amdep should add 1 more DD duty to compliment Wldep 2 DD duty

Okay that's the right timing for the DD. I don't know why the other DD is placed at such a bad timing.

You still think SMRT follow perm bus duty anymore?

Peak hours frequency about 5-7 mins?
Have been seeing about 8-10 mins frequency during off peak hours for 969.. No longer 5 mins..

For some service,You see svc 61,67,854,969 and 985..Almost everyday rotating buses

43 and 43M still bunching very often.
I also wonder why the off peak direction of 43 (towards Punggol) seems to have higher frequency than the peak direction (towards UEC) before 8 am. Shouldn't they be equal?

43 has bi-directional heavy loading in certain points. I'll tell you PM since I have more experience.
Direction from UEC to Punggol
- Marine Parade to Paya Lebar
- Paya Lebar to Serangoon
- Serangoon to YCK Road
- Buangkok MRT to Sengkang East Rd
Direction from Punggol to UEC
- Buangkok MRT to Buangkok Green
- YCK Road to NEX (depends on 70, 103 arrival time)
- Paya Lebar MRT to Marine Parade.

Even before 7am, 43 frequency is also higher towards Punggol. Not many people take 43 from Buangkok Green to Buangkok MRT anyway, most people take 43/43M from Buangkok Green to Serangoon MRT.
Also, overlapping loading patterns often resulted in pax being left behind at the first bus stop of YCK Rd in SBST times, when there were too many SDs, only to have huge number of pax alight at the second stop. But at least for YCK Rd, there is also 70.
I'm not too sure about the Marine Parade sector, as I rarely have time to go there.
