Originally posted by dupdup77:Hi mr proudtobeme, the frequencies stated on website are true. The number of buses is fixed. The bus companies put the frequencies at 4 different categories of timings and cater the required number of buses for the specified timing.
What mr busanalayser is referring to is the frequencies for the services at certain 1-2 hrs zoning. What sbs transit is using is the range of frequencies according to the 4 different categories. Note that there is a difference in the way the two parties view 'frequencies'.
Frequencies of feeder sbs 382 and 386 in Punggol is about 10 min per bus. Read from the LTA release that there is a higher standard for feeder services. By 2017, all feeder services (I mean 100%) have to meet stringent quota of 8 min or less. No joke. Cheers. Thanks.
it is ok my friend. dun take these thing so serious. ty for letting me know freq of 382/386. we r just having fun and sharing our experience frm field. i know if u see my feeder observation at tamp/bdk, u will say i wrong also. but this is on ground observation i do.
Mod: can you change the topic to Observed Service Frequency, Run Time & Time between Destinations
256: Total travel time in each direction is around 20-25 mins. 256 needs 1-2 parking lots given its frequency.

Current topic name is still okay as we can discuss both scheduled and observed frequencies / runtimes here. Just that those who reply need to specify whether it's scheduled or observed...
run time total of 122 = 62 min
run time total of 195 = 115 min
run time total of 47 = 70 min
Observed frequency on sv 43 = 10-13min, 43M = 13-15min
113's runtime during off-peak : 1h10mins peak hrs : 1h18mins

113 frequency during peak hours during 113A operation hours = 20-22 mins
sv 88 = 07-08 mins
sv 135 = 10 mins
sv 76 = 10-11 mins
sv 155 = 12-14 mins
i observe in frankel/siglap area foll freq.
32 = 13-15 min
40 = 14-16 min
42 = 12-14 min
who say 40 got 10 min freq. i took bus total travel time 80 min already bdk-circuit-bdk. plus then you count sleep time at bdk int.
117 took exact 1 hour to reach from Sembawang to Punggol.
Actual total runtime is approx. 120 mins with 13 buses. This means frequency should be 9-10 mins.
But frequency today is 13-15 mins.
Layover time at PGL Interchange is for 1 bus only so around 13-15 mins. This means rest time at Sembawang Interchange for 117 is nearly 35-40 mins???
sv 41 frequency varies between 12-15 mins. I think DDs are timed at 15 min interval while SDs are at 12 min interval. Route is unique between Toh Guan and Beauty World but duplicative to 183 between Toh Tuck and Jurong East.
Overall 41 loading is just okay. Hence, even though frequency is poor, no fleet add received even after Beauty World MRT opening.

76 has become worse after amendment

I managed to peek at one of 117 AP duty.Although it originate from Punggol but the rest time is an average of 6 mins only compared at Sembawang where rest time is around 11-22 mins.The paid mealbreak also at Sembawang.Maybe Punggol is too packed with buses.

New svc number like 44 can be used for Punggol.

Imo better not 44, later ppl complain just like the 666 saga.

So?Let them complain la,Complain or not still got people boarding what.Still living in stone age?Like that dont introduce service 4 la
Later if 44 not use they will still complain why left out 44 and why introduce bigger number?Singaporeans full of complains what is new?
Total runtime of 301 is 30-35 mins. This would give frequency of around 07 mins, but if you take into account BC resting/layover time, the frequency goes to 09-10 mins.
