Maybe. TIB1214B's was a different case since the NWABs are still under SMRT/SBST. Seems like LTA also did not buy over the entire fleet that were registered before 1 January 2016 to SMRT (or SBST) back in September last year, otherwise we wouldn't have seen SMB3548C getting laid up nearly two months after the transition to BCM in September.
Accident just occurred at riveria LRT bus stop along Punggol east at 8.20pm 19-03-2017. 1 bus 381 slightly affected. Van hit railings and knocked them down and strayed to opposite side of road. Ambulance conveyed. Should have injured people.

Originally posted by Gus.chong:No lay up status...I doubt TT or GA (6418R is now under GA) would even know about applying for official lay up.
There are reasons why vehicles are not laid up, take for example, 6145C (Kent Ridge accident) hasn't been laid up even though the accident damage looks serious enough to deem it unusable, and this is from a company who has laid up buses before.
The following will not be scrapped:
SBS34xx
SBS6418R
Main reason is because these buses are still too young.
The following will be scrapped:
TIB1045Y
TIB1046U
Main reason is because these buses are quite old. O405G stopped production since 2003. Hispano closed down in 2013. Then, refurbishment began in 2014 and completed in 2016.

I failed to see in what way does the example showcased one of the reasons.
