I hope Arbp will minor control svc 80,93 should be minor Bndep too.

Fleet allocations do not exactly work that way, depots do not specifically ask to specialise in one fleet type. All decisions are made on a higher level, its the same for both SBS and SMRT, and all decisions are made to maximise economies of scale and ultimately efficiency.

Precisely. At one point of time, it was to get rid of the Adblue tank at WLDEP altogether (until the E500MMCs came along).
And people wonder why our fares keep going up.

I am not asking for a fleet specialization but I really 'hope' to see them coming back to WLDEP, Considering AMDEP had monopolized the MB buses (OC and Citaro) for a long time since 2013, and considering that 171 and 851 got stripped of their MB buses recently I really wish to see them coming back to WLDEP.
I am not being childish over here yes it is made on a higher level I remember one SL told me that using MAN buses is much 'convenient' than MB buses because they do not need adblues,(They can just park their buses after refuelling and need not to top up adblues) Fine. However since the E500s have come back and they needed adblue I really do not see why these MB buses should not be back at WL/WPDEP.

Other than adblue, maintenance is also a factor. Being MB buses, the OC and Citaro do share certain technical parts and even the headlamps, so AMDEP should have most of the required spares for these buses, and the technicians are more used to servicing these buses.
I'm not sure why WLDEP wants to get rid of adblue, as if SMRT chooses to continue with the diesel route for the future, adblue is certainly a must (even for the Euro 6 MAN).

Agreed, maintenance is also a factor.
From my understanding, Euro 6 requirement is still two to three years away. Until then, the operators (and manufacturers) are not going to worry about it.
Its possible to bring back OCs to Wldep.Maintenance wise its simple than the 2 stage turbocharger MAN engine..Just top up adblue every refilling and its done by the pump attendants by the way.
