Hi mr carbikebus, Punggol expected completion is Q3 2017. Signboard outside indicated it. So estimate mid 2017 completion at the earliest. Not possible by sept 2016. Cheers. Thanks.

This arrangement was made for 159 before in 2003, but they switched back to bi-directional in 2005.

Seriously,I only pity the BCs having a hard time finding parking during peak hours..

Yes there has to be service for Anchorvale Crescent. I think it will also do Compassalve Crescent on its way back to interchange.

TPY have no space also, as the initial slots for sv159 was converted into WAB lots instead ...

Jialat already,Maybe can convert 141 to loop at TPY instead?

Compassvale Cres very hard leh, no sign of allowing right turn from Compassvale Cres BTOs to Anchorvale. Uni-directional svc won't help much also.
Uni-directional still okay rather than not having a service to serve the internal HDBs at all. Especially with the new ones coming up this year, it will be good to have feeder service.
It could be a double loop service.
Sengkang Int > Sengkang East Way > Anchorvale Link > Anchorvale St > Anchorvale Cres > Anchorvale St > Anchorvale Link > Sengkang East Way > Compassvale Rd > Compassvale Cres > Compassvale St > Compassvale Rd > Sengkang East Way > Sengkang Int.
Saw that they are in the midst of constructing new JTC building in tampines north area. Zone still partially earmarked for industrial area. Also saw new road tampines avenue 11 has been constructed but cordoned off. Cheers. Thanks.
What existing services have yet to receive any BSEP buses? Are there any plans to add buses? Tbh, I don't really see the point of keeping some of these services at such poor frequencies. They become relatively unreliable to BSEP services to the point that commuters simply stop using them. I have given up using 32 unless I know when the next bus is coming. At about 46km long (D1 + D2), operating with 16 buses is just suicidal given the punishing traffic in Bugis/Kallang. With new flats in Dawson, it might be high time to consider maybe adding about 2 to 3 buses to the fleet. Then again, there's 122 there... sigh.

Yes you may feel the pinch because you live at Frankel, but 32 loading remains poor. So no point wasting resources on adding buses. The Dawson/Margaret HDBs for some reason haven't fueled the loading on 32 or 122. Don't know what's the reason - maybe low occupancy still?
851 852 also havent kena bsep add. 853 i think have 1 iirc. 171 also didnt get, those 2 bsep perms are on bendy slot not bsep slot so idk if that is counted

Try taking 32 from City Hall towards River Valley during weekend evenings/nights. Loadings can hit the 50+ pax mark

True but there is 195 also. There are always such situations on every service. We usually talk about regular loading patterns while reporting and not isolated cases.
I hope that they can open Hougang expansion for parking existing services even before they build the berths.
Today 189 got 3 back to back SDs packed to the door.
But the 4th 189 A22 was very empty despite being 11 min behind the 3rd bus.
Freq was 7 min for the 3 full SDs (all A22s).
Sorry, the 3x full 189 incident was a one off loading.
189 such high loading on weekend. what time and where you spotted? If it is related to loading better put in loading thread and not BSEP. #justsaying.

3.45 pm at Clementi MRT towards Bukit Batok. It is most likely one off as the 4th bus was rather empty despite the long headway.

I like the route. It has low loading now, but high potential in future.
Sembawang - future loading will increase to Canberra Estate (2017)
Canberra - loading will increase as only service from Canberra Estate to Khatib, SAP and Seletar Circus Interchange. The new service that will be introduced is a short trunk from Canberra to Yishun/Sembawang. The only other service is 169 which has a very different route.
Yishun - expect loading to increase to Yishun Ave 1 in future (2017) even if 805 is there as both ply along Yishun Ave 2. In the direction of Yishun Ave 1-Yishun MRT, not so much as bus stops are in opp. direction
Khatib - expect loading to increase to Yishun Ave 1 and SAP (2017)
Yishun Ave 1 - loading will increase (2017) towards Seletar Circus Interchange to transfer to 39, 86, 102, 168, 858
Seletar Aerospace - loading will increase as still major development in on-going (2H 2016, 2017)
Seletar Circus - major interchange point for SAP, Sengkang West, Punggol West and Yishun Ave 1 residents
Punggol West - still Punggol Matilda under development (2017). Loading will increase further in 2017 towards Seletar Interchange & Yishun
Punggol Interchange - loading here may not increase much expect for Punggol intra-town transfer.
Overall, my estimate is in 2017 the 117 DDs will be housefull. The service was introduced way before and should have been introduced full fleet SDs and eventually upgraded to DDs as required in 2H 2016 and 2017.

Because too many DDs and they dont know how to deploy either..
Apparently the irony is that DDs are deployed on low-loading services yet the high-loading ones basically have a majority of SDs..
