To all those people suggesting to split up 67, I suggest that you go and observe how many people take 28/67 at Bedok MRT during PM peak. And a lot of them alight at the first bus stop along Bedok North Ave 3, where there's only 28/45/67. If you want to touch 67, I'm interested to see how 28 is going to tank the load alone.
(Unless there's a replacement route that uses New Upp Changi Rd via Bedok MRT)
Furthermore, 67's route between Tampines Int and Bedok or even up to Kallang / Little India is very unique and well-utilised. Cutting it will make Bedok North Ave 3 residents lose their direct connection to Geylang (especially where 28 doesn't ply or skip bus stops) and even Little India / Mustafa. And in another direction, link to Tampines Int will also be lost (for those suggesting replacement routes to Pasir Ris instead), unless everybody is happy with 168 and a long walk to Tampine Int / town centre (northern tip) which I highly doubt so.
And for those suggesting 21, 23, 65, 66 as alternatives, they basically serve different groups of people. And DTL3 is not even up yet, not to mention that DTL3 is not really parallel to 67.

Hi mr array88, I hope they don't split up Smrt 67. I believe that all these are only speculations. Cheers. Thanks:

There will be no change to Route 66 as it will become the de facto rail replacement bus service.
I am more inclined to think that Route 66 has a higher chance of being broken up under GCM than Route 67.
Transperth is known for fiddling with routing under a similar regime.

so sv76 also have lot of paxes boarding at paya lebar mrt mah.. they also split up and introduce another new service to cover.. so why cant LTA split up 67 and introduce a new service to cover the shorten route?
Originally posted by carbikebus:May i know how many new bus stops it serve and how many bus stops it skipped?
should be 5 pairs of new bus stops, skip 2 pairs of bus stops..
new distance from junction of chai chee dr/new upp changi road to bedok interchange is around 2.1km, while the current route from same junction is around 1.2km.. so around 0.9km more only... wont affect so much...
76 missing sector covered by 43 and 134.
but 43's frequency isn't that great and huh got 134 meh? (134 is being sidelined at the time of launch)
67 cannot terminate at Bedok. Eunos got space for one more svc?
Hmm if 67 amended then 18 should help to take passengers from Bedok. If you dont mind I wish 18 would be amended to ply New Upper Changi Rd instead of Bedok North Street 2 despite not going through Tampines Stadium. But from TP onwards you would have 65 going there

why dun have 134??
I dont think 67 kena,Might be svc 18 or 38 get an enhancement.
Bedok Area Route Planning
67: Eunos Interchange <> CCK
- Follows current route, just truncated to Eunos
17A: Removed and replaced with service 26
26: Toa Payoh Interchange <> Changi Business Park Terminal
- Follows same route until Chai Chee, then turns left onto Chai Chee St/Dr, Bedok MRT (Upp Changi Road), Bedok North Ave 3, Bedok North Ave 4, ITE, Xilin Ave, CBP
- This will help provide alternate route to terminated 67 between Bedok MRT and Bedok North Ave 3
- This will provide direct MRT access to Chai Chee residents + trunk service to Geylang/Eunos/Bedok North/ITE/CBP
- This will provide Bedok North Ave 4 residents connection to Bedok MRT along Upp Changi Road to transfer to other services (+ alternative to sv 17)
- This will connect ITE, Expo, CBP directly to Bedok North and Chai Chee
- Residents along Bedok North Ave 3 will have a direct connection to Geylang, albeit a bit more winding than current 67
Proposed sv 26 should resolve issues sighted above with sv 67 and 17A.

That is one of them, though I have quite a few more recent examples in mind.

Or truncate at Little India. DTL Stage 3 diverges north of route 67 in the Eastern direction.

I think he means still got ppl dunno abt svc 134... went to take on Tues evening, a few ppl about to board 76 at Paya Lebar MRT then BC tell them bus only go to Eunos. The BC even went to upper deck to tell pax, then one lady alighted, heading to Marine Parade. haiz...
If svc 67 were cut, a replacement bus svc would be needed for the eastern sector, as loading is fairly high although semi-alternatives like 18, 65 and 168 are available. The PR and publicity should also be better managed than the 76/134 amendment.

Hi mr 201911, agree on 2nd paragraph. Cheers. Thanks.
To be frank,Its ironic service like 76 is shortened to Eunos.I can understand if service like 14,30,51,61,66,67 etc is split into halves. But again the damage has been done and no point ranting about it again.

LTA better not be planning a stupid split again... because the 76 petition team is ready to create another petition in full force beginning ASAP to prevent stupid amendments from happening

Hi mr sbs6853S, don't worry. I don't think smrt 67 will be cut this time round for Q2 2016. Cheers. Thanks.
If really 67 split happens,Which Int would the svc start from?Tampines? With the extension of another 11 parking lots and boarding berth its possible.A new service from CCK loop at Lavender St?984?
Actually Changi Airport no need terminal la with majority of buses all looping,Just make 36 start from Bt Merah loop at CGA enough.Cant even terminate there also.
I kept wondering why 64 needs to loop at Mei Ling St and not end at Bukit Merah, same goes for 63.
Like it is a loop service in which the loop area have little to no break at all. I think 63 got break but little at Rumah Tinggi. They can put new service 274 from Bukit Merah enter Rumah Tinggi and loop at Mei Ling St
