Hi mr SBS2652G, already waited for 9 months. I want to know asap. At least 2 different destinations (sembawang and changi business park). Not the usual sengkang/Hougang/kovan/serangoon. Hooray. Cheers. Thanks.

Should be Punggol West...
As I proposed could look something like:
Punggol Interchange >> Punggol Central >> Punggol Way >> Punggol Field >> Punggol Road >> TPE stop and beyond...
I doubt it will do the east town of Punggol Field as it has many trunk services currently, where you can interchange at sbs34 or sbs47 at Punggol road.
Originally posted by dupdup77:Hi mr ButIAmAToilet, I heard it is near completion. If sbs 118 is launched, it must be able to take in. Unless they plan for initial looping around CBP first.
The additional plaque at B3 was up there for more than 8 months already. So it is only 2 additional plaque at B2 and B4 that were recently erected this week.
84 only got 2 buses. 50 and 119 were added many years ago. With 386 added last year, its capacity should have been almost full with at most 1 more addition. Thus I only thought will launch sbs 117. Since they launch another sbs 118, should just squeeze everything to the limit. Cheers. Thanks.
117 main rest time could be Sembawang Int, and for 118 could be CBP... This way at Punggol Interchange may only have a 10 minute layover and not need too many parking lots. That's the only way I can see it survive to meet the additional capacity.

Hi mr busanalyser, I doubt sbs 117 and sbs 118 both also go Punggol west. Lately hear many complaints from Punggol drive residents that they have no direct link to TPE stop. So may end up sbs 117 go west side and sbs 118 go east side. East side population is still double that of west side. Cheers. Thanks.

Punggol Dr is possible.

Yes, the Net Lettable Area at Jurong Point (750,000 sq ft) is 202.25% that of Waterway Point (370,824 sq ft). The Number of Retailers at Jurong Point (450) is 300% that of Waterway Point (150). The Number of Car Park Lots at Jurong Point (1467) is 236.61% that at Waterway Point (620).
Well, although Waterway Point has only half the net lettable area of Jurong Point, its catchment area has only around 600,000 people - 12% that of Jurong Point's catchment area of 5,000,000 people. It may be more spacious at Waterway Point. :)

Hi mr jurongresident, the number of retail shops that waterway point can manage is 230, not 150. Current number of retailers is between 170-180. Still got space for more. There will be another 10 F & B restaurants in the biggest safra Punggol ready in March 2016. Waterway point and safra and Punggol settlement will be a game changer in Punggol. Cheers. Thanks.

I think you have got your math wrong... with 600,000 and 5,000,000 (5 million) people. You are talking as of Jurong Point caters to all of Singapore population.

where is Punggol settlement going to be built? SAFRA Punggol does not have good public transport connectivity - that's going to be a huge disadvantage for it.

Hi mr busanalyser, Punggol settlement is already completed build for 2 years already. It is at Punggol road end where sbs 84 goes by. Safra Punggol is situated at a part of the waterway. It will attract many people who will walk/jog/run along the waterway from various parts of the HDB estates all around. It is located next to Sam Kee LRT which I believe will open together with Punggol safra. There is also new bus stop spotted at sentul crescent which is the 1 big loop nearby safra. With new bus stops, I believe sbs 117 will go to Punggol place-sentul crescent-sumang link-Punggol way-seletar north link-etc. Cheers. Thanks.

ok. thank you for the info.

Hi mr busanalyser, I saw another pair of new bus stops at sumang link. Currently, there are many HDB flats there without any bus services. Strongly hint that sbs 117 will bypass sentul crescent to sumang link then head on to Punggol way to seletar north link to yishun Ave 1. Cheers. Thanks.
Originally posted by Sbs6750E:Actually 117 can go via Safra >> Summang Limk >> Punggol Walk (no bus Svcs) >> Punggol field/Way to cover more of Punggol West
Hi mr sbs6750E, if go Punggol place-sentul crescent (safra Punggol -1 pair of bus stop ready)- sumang link (1 pair of bus stop ready), then must turn to Punggol way go to seletar north link already. How to go sumang link then go Punggol walk??? Note safra is inside sentul crescent. So go in only can come out then turn into sumang link. If go straight to Punggol walk (mrt side), then cannot go sumang link anymore. Then it will be a big loop back to Punggol field and Punggol way. Cheers. Thanks.

Makes a lot of sense as blocks 310/313 are quite far from Nibong LRT... Surely will be the route for 117.
All, sianz. I went all around Punggol but did not see any posters of sbs 117 and sbs 118 at the bus stops along Punggol field, central, east, drive, edgedale plains, edgefield plains, Punggol way, Punggol place, Punggol road. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr lemon1974, that is where you are wrong. Previously sbs 386 got extended and sbs 3 recent route amendment, posters come out first on bus stops much earlier than official press announcement. Cheers. Thanks.
Service 117, 118 & 983 new posters is up at bus-stop ploes.
