Pity NBR no space liao. Routes 120 & 122 can start from Marina South ITH when it is ready. Route 36 can become NBR-CGA. New route from MS looping at Tomlinson to cover lost links.
Originally posted by SBS6853S:76 should be amended back to Marine Cres via original route, then turning out to Marine Parade Road and extend to somewhere else while 134 remains. Then, more will benefit
Damage already done. When Bidadari is ready Route 134 can start from there. Follow Route 135 but don't enter MacPherson Est. That way Route 67 can cut back to Sims Pl. TAM-EUN sector can be handled by 76.

They can amend 120 & 122 from Marina Centre now if svc 56 & 97 end somewhere else.
North of Bukit Batok West Ave 6 and Bukit Batok Road, massive housing developments are ongoing in that area.
Once they are ready, it is almost certain the demand will justify a new feeder service. Perhaps service 949, with some overlap with 941.
Tengah new town ready in 3-4 years time,Any chance for a new ITH or just a passing by bus service will do?

In future Bukit Batok West will get 2 feeder services, not one. You will need a feeder to ply all the avenues 5,6,7,8,9 + Bukit Batok Road. Every quarter there is announcement of hybrid development + residential + educational insitution. In future, 180 will also get massive fleet add once BBT West is complete.

It would be very helpful to make full utilisation of Bt Gombak MRT. A feeder could do that, but there'll be some additional roads plied that could result in duplication with 945. Best for a standalone trunk service from the north (that may or may not terminate at Bt Batok; similar to SBS9252G's suggestion here).
Also, West Ave 7 is not part of the development area.

True. Not ave 7. No point going to Bukit Batok as a feeder. Feeders should operate from BBT and back. There could be a trunk service that connects to Bukit Gambok up to CCK/BPJ.

Hi mr busanalyser, there is also the soon to be rejuvenated 'Margaret drive' area by 2020. Lands are already cleared. Anytime the HDB flats are going to start building. Plans are already announced for replacement of SERS flat years ago. Cheers. Thanks.
Anyone got an update photos for Sungei Seletar,Ulu Pandan and Mandai?

What about Commonwealth Dr / Tanglin Halt (road where sv 61 plies)... I heard that is going for redevelopment. Maragret Dr HDBs are almost complete.

180 can be re-routed to pass through the neigbourhood, or if 66 does gets broken up it can be amended to make a detour for this new area. The latter option is easier, as it will be under GCM.
Honestly the timing for bus service 258 need to be adjusted so the residents here do not have to wait fr nearly 15min fr 1 bus.

Hi me busanalyser, I thought they will be relocated to those new flats in Margaret drive and Dawson. There are many projects there which have not started build. Those SERS replacement flats will only be up few years later. The last time I went by few weeks ago, the land is still empty. Cheers. Thanks.

The loading does not justify any fleet add or frequency improvement. The route needs to be tweaked to loop at St 81/82 originating from Joo Koon. This way bus does not need to go to Boon Lay and will save some time, improving frequency to 12 mins.
More so, there isn't much loading at Pioneer MRT for 258 apart from those who take it to their house along st 71.

I wonder what will happen to 160... Unique connection to Jurong East yet frequency is simply terrible.

Cross border service is an exception

I suspect there will be a new service to Jurong East from this town when it is developed. 160 will not be able to tank the load.

There are a number of BBDEP Euro IV KUBs that are not JB-registered.
I was wondering if LTA could buy and transferred some K230UBs(Euro V) to TT and GA?

56 & 97 hopefully can merge. But then again LTA not keen on extending 198 into CBD even though it is only a few bus stops.
Now they are confused whether to start 68 from Punggol or Pasir Ris.. And i am not suprised svc 1 will start from Changi Village.

Why the need to merge 56 & 97 when one start from Bishan and one from Jurong East?198 because of the journeys and manpower it needs..Like that why dont extend 174 to Lor 1 then..So many options la..
