Compete abit w 117/811/812 sia. Even 804 very empty alr when it reach st 41. A bit too early before the new N6 and remaining N5 blocks come up.
But suddenly the bus stop at blk 651 / villa francis go from 1 intratown service only to 3 svcs (1 intra 1 trunk and 1 feeder) within a year. A real far cry from the old TIBS 803 (TIB39Y/TIB41P/TIB42L 11m RK176's at its worst with 40 mins freq) days.

This is interesting. Seriously.
Didn't expect 68 to be used so soon. I was still hoping it is reserved if and when 67 might get cut short to use 68 for Tampines-Rochor.
76 amendment to Eunos is very funny. The only way this is possible if Marine Crescent part is omited and bus turns left to Still road from Marine Parade Road (966 route). I can see why they may want terminating point for 76 as it is quite a long looping route, but not sure this is the best as 76 is very popular at Marine Crescent. Unless it does a big loop around Siglap Road > Kembangan to terminate at Eunos.
If 76 goes from Marine Crescent, there will be a missing gap to Tanjong Katong road, Paya Lebar MRT and Paya Lebar road. Quite unlikely IMO, but let's see.

Hi mr busanalyser, I predict Sbs 76 to totally cut off whole marine parade area and straight to eunos interchange after paya Lebar to give it a terminating interchange. Sbs 68 will start eunos to fill up the vacuum caused by Sbs 76 amendment. This is my prediction only. No flaming! Cheers. Thanks.

It seems legit to delete the Tanjong Katong/Marine Parade Sector for Svc 76. However, lose direct service to Parkway Parade and Marine Parade from YCK/AMK...Svc 68 can do something like this:
Eunos Int, Sims Ave East, Jln Eunos, PIE, Paya Lebar Rd, Tanjong Katong Rd, Amber Rd, Marine Parade Rd, Marine Cres, Marine Terrace, Marine Parade Rd, Amber Rd, Tanjong Katong Rd, Paya Lebar Rd, PIE, Jln Eunos, Changi Rd, Jln Turi, Eunos Int -

Yes I do see that as a possibility and it occured to me as well. If 76 starts at Eunos, goes Marine Parade then Paya Lebar, it is really winding route. Also it could be possible as 76 and 43 run in parallel all the way from AMK Ave 3 / YCK Road junction. 76 long route also causes frequent delays/bunching issue. If this is the case, then 68 will be what to what... It will need to start somewhere as well and loop around Marine Crescent like 76 does today. If it starts at Eunos, it will have to wind along Siglap side before coming to Marine Crescent or loop Marine Crescent twice. Quite confusing. Let's just wait for the route.

haha. as i have expected
i am hoping 68 is not going direct to still rd & then loop at marine terrace
& i guess 43 is the alternative to tanjong katong/marine parade from AMK ave 3 area since 76 duplicates 43 route

People from Eunos no need to wait for svc 13 to East Coast Park through Marine Ter.
