There is already 15 and 966 between Eunos and Marine Parade. One more!?!?
Really can't think of any routes that will not be duplicative. Also note that Haig road is extremely narrow between Geylang Serai and Dunman Rd. I don't know how can buses even ply on that road.
Marine Parade needs NO more services. Too many already.

Still, some people are calling for LRT between Marine Parade and Paya Lebar, claiming that bus services there are unreliable...

Sounds like it's time for a Marine Parade Bus Interchange. If there is space available near the future TEL station.

Actually the empty land beside parkway carpark can be used for bus terminal..

That's so not true. You have 43, 76 and 135 between MP and Paya Lebar, having a bus approx. every 03 mins to connect to MRT + Tanjong Katong road also has 31/197 covering.
Eunos has 15/966.
Bedok has 16/31/196/197
Tanah Merah now has 31/47

No BSEP or PTO upgrades since launch of BSEP in 2012
150 - 201
151: Got DD-> SD downgrade, no fleet add. Has many alternatives along its route, but recently loading has picked up quite a bit between Macpherson and Hougang that could warrant an upgrade.
153: Still operating with same # DDs/SDs. Current fleet managing load well
156: Current fleet managing load well. 156 loading has tanked over the years, and 156A also was stopped
160: JB service. Horrible frequency. Definitely deserves fleet add.
166: got capacity downgrade from DD->SD (at least 4 slots in last 3 years). Loading on 166 has dropped over the years.
173: no fleet add/upgrade. Maybe now with DTL2, might get but will depend on loading
174: urrent fleet managing the loading well. I am not 100% sure if it got SD->DD in last 3 years? Someone can confirm.
177: thought this will get converted to full day service under BSEP or get extended to YT but did not happen
179: already operating with 27-28 buses with full fleet DD
180: already operating full fleet bendy
184: surprisingly this one hasn't got fleet add or upgrade unlike its other SIM/Clementi counterparts like 52/154
197: current fleet doing well. 197's loading depends a lot on other services such as 7 bet Guillemard and Bugis, 147 between China Town and Bukit Merah, 14 between Bukit Merah and Kent Ridge, 97 between AYE and Jurong East.

180 has have got a fleet add last year..
And you may want to include 167 too..

167 did get a fleet add... 180 I thought got fleet downgrade when it became Boon Lay <> Petir Road (loop) and then again one bus was added... So original fleet size is same.

Sorry then, totally forgotten about 167's fleet add as well as 180's downgrade and upgrade..
off topic a lit, LTA do screwed up in the distance fare calculator.
Adult travelling from Bukit Panjang Station to Newton is showing 28.8km and charging $1.91. via DTL2.
DTL 2 is only 16.6km. A lot of people get overcharged! Called and yet to get any response from the authority.

How about this route? More like an extension than a new service, though.

Okay... duplicative to other services and quite long. 121's main objective is getting people from Tiong Bahru to Ganges/Tehlok Blangah.

174 received SBS3845K (DD) last year, which is most likely a fleet addition.

174 def didn't get fleet add, but I do think it got SD -> DD last year. Not sure.

At least give credit for attempting to recreate the Sports Hub link. Not to mention the Marine Parade-Stadium-Suntec-Chinatown section is pretty much the old CSS4 being resurrected.

167 didnt get fleet add since 2 years ago bro.I heard this March there is one more A/P duty for Amdep.

Youre right,174 doesnt need fleet addition for now,Just another SD to DD will be enough.
BSEP new bus service 258 has problem with schedule adherence. Just now, I waited for 258 at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. The wait was quite long. The queue line went from long to short to long, as bus service 243G arrives. Finally, the bus 258 arrived, at 8:15pm. I took a glance at the queue line, it seems to extend all the way until the end of the yellow painted line. That's not the point.
The bus 258 arrived at 8:15pm at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. The point is that when that bus was at the first bus stop, I saw another 258 at the opposite side of JW street 64. When the bus was street 81, I saw another 258.
Clearly, bus service 258 has problem with schedule adherence. I hope someone can help me inform the time keeper at Joo Koon/Boon Lay Bus Interchange about it.
It has been fifty three days since bus service 258 was introduced on 21 November 2015. I hope by now the LTA knows the loading pattern of bus service 258. The loading is low (only a few cats in the lower deck) during regular hours and the loading is very high (up to half of upper deck occupied) during peak hours (up to around 8pm). I am sure the LTA knows exactly which are the hours the bus service has very high loading. I hope the pattern has been consistent enough over the past fifty three days, to deem it necessary for bus service enhancements (increase frequency) during the periods of very high loading.

+- correct
when the bus is b4 west wood pri - gek poh , another bus will be at the opp side
then when the bus is at st 71 , another bus opp
bus @ boon lay way junction/upp jurong rd , another bus
outside joo koon , another bus
pretty consistent , plus minus. its a loop service. Cant expect perfect timings at the looping area.
so far not much bunching, which is good.
Just wondering, what are the deployment rules on BSEP buses again? BSEP buses cannot run on non-BSEP routes, but is the reverse true? Because both 20 and 47 I notice seem to have non-BSEP perms.
Anyway, I suppose some of these rules may have to be broken for GCM.

Hi mr SG5001C, BSEP buses cannot run on non-BSEP routes but non-BSEP buses can run on BSEP routes. Cheers. Thanks.
