So what kind of changes might 20 kena? I assume no more loop... will it still stop near Changi City Point etc. Cos right now after Changi City Point it loops around Changi Business Park... will the area served by the loop likely be preserved even after it is converted out of a loop svc?

Hi mr CN2883J, from what I see, we still need Sbs 20 to loop around Changi business park to serve the companies inside. Cheers. Thanks.

Thanks. Hmm... then we may end up with another 38-like scenario, looping around instead of going in straight line... eventually might there be feeders/loops coming out of the Changi Business Park terminal? Lol
Meanwhile also the Townlink branding is disappearing with the use of EDS.

Probably 20 amended to skip some parts of the looping portion, e.g. after Changi Sth Ave 4, go straight to Changi Biz Pk Vista, then turn right into Changi Sth Ave 1 to terminate. Then the skipped section at CBP Ctrl 2, Ave 3 replaced by another service. Either that or vice versa.
I'd guess that other than 20 to Tampines, other svcs at CBP bus terminal might go to Bedok/UEC, Pasir Ris and Sengkang/Punggol. Although I'm not sure if we really need so many full day bus svcs to CBP, especially on weekends.
I might feel there is only 3 svc for a start at CBP Terminal.
Okay, firstly I would like to apologise about the previous info. According to the person who provided the photos, there are only 11 berths, because one "berth" at the end seems too narrow for buses.
Regarding svc 20, honestly I would like to see it the way it is today. The Changi South Ave 2/4 sector is equally important as CBP and may even have higher loading. If 20 has to be amended to CBP Ter, a new service should be introduced to replace the deleted sector and connect to EWL at least.

If sv 20 is amended to start from CBP, it will have to ply in both directions on Changi South Ave 2/4 and that is possible without missing any link.
I think it would also make sense to launch new service that goes to Tanah Merah MRT, so that people don't have to transfer at Expo to go to Tanah Merah.
Apart from this, I think will be great if sv 39 is diverted to CBP. The only stops it will miss is Tampines Ave 5 / Tampines Interchange but will not be loss to people as those bound for Pasir Ris will have sv 81, those for Yishun will still have sv 969 from interchange. This change to sv 39 will make sv 39 turn left from Tampines Ave 2 to Changi Hospital, ITE and then CBP.

If 39 is diverted out of Tampines Int, those going to Tampines Ave 2 from Tampines Int/MRT will have to rely on 292 and 20 only (except those closer to Tampines East CC who may take 18/38). But it makes sense for 39 to go to CBP.

That's okay right.. You have 2 services, + in one direction you will also have sv 3. In addition from ave 5, you have sv 34 too. So no inconvenience to pax.
20 on weekdays should also see more DDs in future.
and there is sv 8/18 also.
more aircon stations pls

Are u ruling out Svc 48 starting from CBP?

Sure - 48 could be the service connecting to Tanah Merah.

I guess 46 CBP-Geylang Bahru(Loop)
47 CBP-Bedok North St 3 passing by BNDEP.
48 CBP-Buona Vista
Work has started on reinstating what seems to be the original entrance to tampines Int where the end on berths are as of last week. At first glance, it also seems that WAB end on lots are being built as well
I rmb there's one plan for bus depot and MRT depot to be constructed together? Any idea which??

should be the one in Changi depot
Mandai depot; TEL depot.
Next time, I think the one for the Jurong Region Line will also be a two-in-one depot. Bus depot below, JRL depot above.

I think both Changi and Mandai are... For Changi Depot, 2nd level EWL, 1st TEL and buses, and basement DTL if I'm not wrong.
Joo Koon Bus Interchange. Saw around four double decker buses parked there. They are the Volvo B9TL Gemini Wright, with the livery of SBS Transit. They look brand new.
Contrary to what many people claim, I guess there would be high usage at Joo Koon Bus Interchange, even during weekends. This is from my observations on Joo Koon MRT station, where there is high usage of the MRT to and from the station.
During the campaign period of the General Elections, the PAP team for my GRC sent around three booklets to my house, one of which is about the improvements to transport and infrastructure. In that booklet, they say that Joo Koon Bus Interchange would open by the end of this year, and with the opening of the bus interchange, they hope to make changes to some bus services.
Believe 99 will go Joo Koon

I might think Changi is definately for SBST and Mandai for SMRT.From the plan,Its 3 storey depot with a capacity of 600 and 550 respectively.

This should be generally good news, most crowds at Boon Lay would be diverted away.
Just hope Joo Koon doesn't get too overcrowded - some links to the JW and Tuas industrial estates should still be maintained at Boon Lay and Pioneer.
I noticed that the infrastructure for Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange is almost ready from the view at the underground berths of the current bus interchange...can someone share the estimated date Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange will open?
