860 unless extended to somewhere else,Its better to start from Sembawang looping at Ave 2 passing by Yishun Int.Wlbp can deploy a few DDs..AMDEP is so limited la..

this month bsep wave only starting 17 Aug so ofc wont start service yet
wait first only next monday then will start proper...and i suspect is to rpl the 2 bsep man on 854
whereas the non bsep ones shld mostly go to 857 (maybe 1 854 idk)

I think 857 is good enough for now with 50% DD fleet.. max to max convert 1 more SD --> DD... Should instead give few to 851 and 854 like many suggested here or might get used to replace bendies on 61/67 as well.

No, u should see the rigid having problems tanking the load at YCK rd due to the crowd from Little India, Boon Keng there. I suggest either full fleet DD or 80% DD

since last wk or smth 5073 5074 5076 has been doing a certain 857 AMDEP slot (spotted on several days) thats why i think most of the non BSEP this round (3/5 of them?) may go to 857 again (which i also hope not for now at least as other sv needs it more)

I think there are other services that deserve it more at this point in time. 857 doing okay with 09 DDs... from having none.
Time to beef up capacity on 851, 854 and 860.
WPDEP also needs to give more attention to 856 which was announced with fanfare to get DDs.. and only got 2 till now.. still has 6 rigids... for a service that was once full fleet bendy.

AMDEP got 2 BSEP enviros and normally they will always introduce DDs to services by using BSEP DDs. But since AMDEP only got 2 BSEP DDs, might be weird if introduce 2 DDs on 851 or 854 so I think they should deploy 2 BSEP DDs on 860 next week while the production batch will go to 851 or 854. This statement is my opinion.

I also got the feeling that if 854 is to get the non-BSEP DDs, the 2 new A24s might also be taken out from and redeploy to 800/806/811/812.
Now at least 854 dun have to go under WLDEP in order to get DDs.

Better off if 860 extend to Punggol and merge with 119 to loop at Kovan hub (resembles the old 860 Sengkang-Kovan route lol

...)Yeah,But you know LTA mah..Whatever long distance they put it as Peak hour expressway service nowadays..I hope 860 starts from Sembawang ply diff route from 859 to Yishun estates instead.For the DDs and the condition of Amdep its wiser to deploy 3 units first to 851 and take out those 3 OCs or A22s.For 854 replace 3 SDs and 1 bendy bus with 4 DDs first.Any new DDs will be top up again for these two service and the excess will goes to 855 & 857.852 & 853 definately no need DDs at all with 1 A/P BSEP bus will be added to svc 852 to boost freq instead.

On 860: I think in future it will get extended to loop @ Springleaf MRT to give direct connection for Ring road residents to TEL.
I doubt 860 will get extended to Sembawang (this was my hope earlier as well). The reason I think it is not possible now because many people have moved from 806 to 860 between upper leg of ring road to Yishun MRT. This connection will be lost if extended to Sembawang. Unless another feeder service is introduced to compensate this part.

...)I would not recommend. 860 has currently 04-05 mins frequency... imagine that excess frequency for 119 route.. disastrous! Then you will have to introduce 860M. 119 could have actually been merged with 113, since LTA/SBS anyway don't consider 113 to be an important service.
