Improved 970 freq first,Too many split shift buses,Can convert 2 split to A/P duties and we see from there.
In recent years, 970 has already undergone a high-profile and much publicized frequency enhancement under BSEP if i'm not wrong
i recalled watching on tv a regular 970 commuter being interviewed and she cited an significant reduction in the waiting time she experienced on 970
whether it's "wayang" show for the time being..i cannot comment

Not just O305s. There were also Leyland Atlanteans too. I think those were more numerous than their German cousins.
Route 970 was introduced in 2000 to provide cover for lost links that resulted from the axing of Route 5 the previous year when the BPLRT opened for business. Margaret Dr was left with just Route 32 until the return of Route 122 this year as part of BSEP.
The Lower Delta to Chinatown sector was partially restored with the introduction of Route 120 in 2013. In the olden days, it was plied by Route 189.
Don't think Sv 5 ever plied Margaret Dr
Margaret Dr was served by 32 and 103
that time leyland atlanteans on Sv 103 from Jln Kayu to Buona Vista

No need the high capacity buses.
bus route can just rot with single decker buses after DTL2, for all I care it would become a bad bus service.
what? so bad?
Hmm...just thinking..
Could it be that SMRT uses bendy buses to "attract" more riders on 171? Such that passengers will prefer 171 over DTL in the future? And thus it won't affect the ridership? Hahas...as a pax, I might prefer seats than speed if I'm not in the rush(after work).
Well, bendy buses is "lvl 2" in terms of the no. of seats whereas DD is "lvl3". Perhaps right now, the load is in between "lvl1"(SDs) and "lvl2"...

sv 61 had 3 DDs running yesterday...
2 BSEP (3543 + 1 more) and 1 Non-BSEP (5042).
Heard from a friend that contractor start to access the roof of SMRT Amdep..Hmmm.As far as i know only the centre parking lots roofing isnt suitable for DDs while the one near the fencing areas is slightly above 4.5m

Maybe some of these buses will go to AMDEP and some of the Enviros that are SP at KJDEP and WPDEP can transfer to AMDEP. Furthermore AMDEP might finish its modification around mid - August. Thats my opinion.

Maybe this time around all of them can go to WPDEP / KJDEP.. and the last 3 rounds can go AMDEP...

Eh bro how are you so sure they dismatle the roof rather than reroof?
I rather see the Enviros goes to the new operators than SMRT,SMRT use A95s better
anyone sees any DDs on 172? today 172S107 ran by 964B...

on the same note, I hope the B9TLs go to the new operators than SBST, SBST use KUDs better.

Spotted some Enviro500s at AMDEP just now. Here the Enviros reg.no that I have spotted at AMDEP so far, not sure for the rest. And i can see that the lower part of the Diesel Pump station roof have been removed.
