They will amend and make the route more winding especially for SMRT svc so that many pax will give up and take DTL or SBST svc instead
Spotted SBST wright dd at cck road towards bt panjang road saturday around 11am
soon Premium 555 would probably go too

Prolly a SMRT using a wright that is not repainted

It depends uh. Hows the loading?

If 960 is amended to skip Pending/Blk 270, it will take away the only direct connection to Woodlands Road/Mandai Estate. This means people will be forced to transfer.
Pretty low according to a video, probably due to how winding the route is. When 500 is introduced the loading would likely drop

500 will pass through BPJ Ring Rd (to replace 555)?
Its just a prediction. Anyway people prefer 972 over 555, although a minority of them would be affected because of that, but otherwise there are always alternative options
No no, Is sbst dd with the sbs transist on it. 555 loading is less than 20. Can handle using citaro instead of dd

Suspect 555 will temporarily be in Bukit Merah bus package in the meantime using JB-regged K230UBs.

the recent press release in Oct did not mention anything about Bukit Panjang and also boon lay....
so one service for Yishun, one for Tuas? one for SK feeder? amk feeder? one for Bedok -HG maybe via Bartley flyover also..
More new bus services will also be implemented to further enhance connectivity in areas like Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Hougang, Sengkang, Tampines, Toa Payoh, Tuas, Whampoa and Yishun.

Svc 129 - Tampines - Toa Payoh - Whampoa
Svc 127 - Tampines
Svc 883 - Yishun (Is this included as one of the services?)
Well as I was reading the negotiated packages... Tampines should have one more new route... Sembawang/Yishun Package already full...

from the press release dun think 883 is counted...
maybe the yishun one is from HG via YCK/Jalan Kayu/SLE and under SBST instead.. unless they extend 860 to ang mo kio (as usual pattern and then count as new route)... haha..

AMK service could be under Seletar package also, got 2 new svcs. Personally I think a short feeder is more likely.
The LTA press release didn't specify a timeframe for introducing these new svcs, so most of them could be introduced only next year. Other than those areas mentioned above, Bt Batok West should also be getting new bus svcs next year as there are many flats coming up, likely operated by Tower Transit.
860 will be extended to TPY and one very popular svc will cut short to AMK from EAstern side..
